It's time to take the fight back to HBG

If they bought out the Balmain share and put in an extra $5-10 million, would you still support the club?
They bought out the Balmain share like 10-15 years ago. What on earth are you on about 😂😂😂

But yes if they did chip in another 5-10mil, removed all but 2 games from Lidcombe oval, changed our NSW cup name to Wests Tigers, and implemented a majority independent, democratically elected board, then I could support HBG continuing to run the club. Either start running the club professionally or sell the club to someone who will.

Our club is seen as amateur.

Put simply, we have poor leadership. Richo was the only one that stabilised things and no coincidence things are falling apart without him driving the show. Only Vicious and Tucker has some bias against him - he was a great CEO.

Sorry, but after todays press conference from Shaun, he is not the right CEO for the job.

We need an experienced administrator that has overseen success at other clubs. In fact, we need a group of them - CEO, GM and Head of Football.

Our board is complicit as they have approved all these hires. We need more experience in the building because we cannot rely on our board to run a tuck shop let alone a football club.

Balmain Tigers still own a 10% share.

To be fair to SM, he did take the Mariners from last place and a complete mess to winning grand finals in the Aleague. He started off with the Panthers too. So he's got some runs on the board.

Inst to him to deliver, but in the current environment it's a tough ask...

I love Richo but unfortunately I do not think things would be much different under him than they are now

I work for an ASX listed company. Someone with a 10% share basically has an open phone line to the CEO and CFO and a pretty big say in where the company goes.
Yeah but the majority is 90% to your 10% - do you think Wests at 90% are listening to Balmain at 10%?

People are deluded if they think Balmain gets any say whatsoever. By nature of the board appointments, Balmain would never get anything past the board.

Too inexperienced in my view.

Low stakes A League is not the same as NRL too. If you like.Shaun fine...but he's not going to change anything.
