Speaks well…

Clarifies his position..

I keep saying it, the bloke is calm and quietly confident in his own ability. No big promises, no bagging and no look at me. Fingers crossed its the best move this club has ever made

Agree SC..he has even given me some hope for this year..

I have a lot of faith in him based in the way he speaks the experiences he has had.

I think we are in good hands, and thats why I am not scared of losing these players if they don't want to be there. Because Cleary commands respect and will get on with the job of rebuilding the roster with his own hands with people of good character.

This is not about turning around a team, its about turning around a whole culture and Cleary is the man for that. Results might not be spectacular for a while however as long as there is progress I think Tigers fans will back him.

GEO I would not go that far.

We have the worst attack and the worst defence and we hardly even have an injury.

This year is a write off.

Doesn't mean though we can't see some changes and hard calls that help for next year.

It's the same everywhere when a new coach comes in.
Cleary gives us all hope because he is the best qualified coach we have had since Sheens.

Having said that, Cleary is on a hiding to nothing this year and he knows it. Hence his comments about never having come into a coaching job at this time of a season. No off season preparation is going to make it near impossible to get good results quickly.

I like his confidence though. He believes he is much better now than anytime previous.

Good luck Ivan

Look if we re-sign Tedesco and he is not 100% confident with his decision.. come 3 years time we haven't made the pointy end of the table will he look back at what could have been and leave the club?

I think Cleary was a great choice, but as for turning things around this year, can't see it. We have one hand firmly on the spoon, but you never know, when our kids finally sort out what they are doing and start playing football anything is possible

I just hope supporters give Ivan some time, he has alot to sort out.

Ivan is a person that when he speaks you can really buy into it.

Wish Teddy would buy in to it, and buy in to it now, we can't be mucking around to much longer, players are going off the market daily.

Ivan is the best thing for this club.
He will rebuild it from the ground up and we will be a powerhouse and unlike Penrith we won't sack him when the job is done aka Gouls for Griffin. I wish him all the luck in the world I will be happy and proud of all his efforts. The team just needs to believe in him.

So are nightmares

No need for BS from IC. He has now where to go but up. But he seems level headed - just like he played, just like his young son. He has a huge task on his hands and we all wish him the best. IMO we picked the only guy capable and willing.

It's all spin!!!

I don't really mean that, I think Cleary is a solid coach and speaks well. I'm just pointing out that he has literally zero runs on the board with the club and people are talking him up based on his demeanour. Jason Taylor talked a good game too, lots of people called that spin.
