There's no doubt in my mind that this was just a money grab for JAC.
And using the "FAMILY " card to do so worked well for him.
He'll get more money now from storm and that will take him to $500k for next year.
So his negotiations from the end of next year , with whichever club/clubs chase him will start
from $500k plus.

stinks a bit of Moses and his mental health concerns when told he couldn't leave us

Getting to the desperation stage now.

Offer 4 years at $700k
I know it's alot but will he really forego $200k to stay in Melbourne?

And why can't we offer him something meaningful outside of footy?

Set up an indigenous youth/pathway program for remote areas. He could be the face of if and do clinic visits etc.

Challenge him with more than just $$$.
Show him we want him for more than just his on field ability.

I'm sure the program would have an opening or 2 for his dad/cousin/ family members??

Why - he is just a fast winger - forget him go after Angus.

So the knives are out again and yet the club actually were smart in their dealings. HOA means that the Bulldogs and South's are out of the equation for 2021 leaving us as the only Sydney option if JAC was that keen to leave Melbourne.
Also forced Melbourne to up his contract to retain him. We might not of got him but we were a thorn in the side of the clubs that were also linked to him.

How does that improve our roster?

Some one tell Pascoe that his mate mansour is not what we need. If we sign him. Pascoe has to go we are not a retirement home for ex panther mates

Hardly think Pascoe would sign him without approval of other people at the club, eg, Madge, Hardigan etc. etc.

So should they all go?

Yes

Real question is what is more frustrating:
- Watching as we throw away games like the one this year against the Titans
- Watching all the media drag out our negotiations for a rep player only to miss out
- Watching all the pre-season articles about "we're sick of watching finals on tv and this year will be different" only to miss out with 1-2 games left

Might start a poll. My vote is the second one as we're put through months of speculation, where the first one it's quick and we expect it anyway.

JAC is a player that always was going to attract attention of other clubs - he has earned that right. We did our best to block our competition in Sydney but if he doesn't want to sign with us and would rather stay with Melbourne not much else we can do.

Its time we re located to Kings Cross
Because we sure know how to get screwed
We were played
No doubt about it

I can see what is going to happen now
We will spend all of our cap and presto
Addo-Carr all of a sudden signs with souths Because we have no money left in our cap

Addo Carr. Latrell, Matterson, Cleary, Moses and even Packer and Reynolds have, and continue to laugh, at Wests Tigers. Wake up Pascoe and Co, and stop Wests Tigers slide towards becoming known as the pits of the NRL. Respect is worth much more than money even though the club isn't rollng in that either.

So does the HOA now mean we need to leave money aside just in case he gets a release? Surely he agreed to come here a sad we agreed to sign him. If it’s binding it’s 2 way

Hope it’s worthless

Why are people getting up the administration???

Based on media reports
He is under contract to melb for 2021
If he gets released he has to come join WT

Sounds like a win to me?

Much rather daine laurie for 2021 tbh

JAC didn’t even bother attending the meeting instead his Manager attend to advise his staying put, this is how well respected our club is.

Isn’t he in lockdown with the blues ?

Can we tell him he can sign with a rival on the provision they have to negotiate with us regarding the hoa that way we can still get someone out of it.

If we do have a binding agreement and he wants to go to rabbits tell him we will release him for Cameron Murray

Sounds good to me.

Lee Hagipantelis is a douche bag ..
Remember when we were in talks with Latrell and he was on tv giving the cameras the thumbs up ..
Pascoe is another flog ...
But hey we make a profit ?
