This can only be considered as a massive failure for our recruitment team at our club. There was an elite player who wanted to join us, and agreed to join us, and yet we still couldn't get the deal done. How he chooses the Dogs over us when they seemingly offered the exact same deal we did is beyond me. He's not joining his brothers at souths, he's joining losers at the dogs instead or returning 'home' to us, a club he's supported and shown his appreciation of the club in the past. What happened. How did we turn him off us so quickly?!

I can only imagine our signing him to the MOU only to then not arrange a trade for him. Failing to trade inferior players for far superior players is a massive fail for the club and a plus for the dogs. They still have no spine and a lot of money tied up in a handful of players so they're going to have no depth. They've just signed MWZ for example

Something clearly went wrong. It might not have been the club at all though, he was keen and ready to come then something happened and he changed his mind. Could’ve been something the club did or could’ve been outside influences getting in his head. Either way it’s very disappointing we couldn’t get it done - hopefully they make us feel better by getting someone else decent for 2022

Hardly a failure from us. We wanted him for 2021. It was never going to work out if he couldn't get a release this year.

Phil - The dogs. He signed that heads of agreement and was over the line. Dogs came in late with big money, so he went back to the storm requesting to see out his contract so he could take up the Dogs deal.

Now same thing is happening to them with Cheese. All but done, but now other clubs coming in hard, after his manager advised he was on the market

So definitely the reported 500k a season was bonkers. I reckon it's 700 k or above a year for him. Way overs. Typical of the dogs.

Are you talking about the Laundy’s .. these people live off the misery of others and there gambling habits .. I certainly would not call them hip and popular I actually have other terms to describe people like this !

The feeling I am getting from the club Atm this is going to turn around .. build the COE get competitive and all roads will lead to Concord it’s a cycle and the Tigers time is coming !
