2020 is almost over

You mean 2021

But who knows maybe JAC staying at storm for 2021 and a bunny from 2022

No, I feel quite confident that he will arrive for pre-training late 2020 and play for tigers in 2021.

Even if he signs he will not be at the Tigers until 2021

I don't understand why the rorters haven't been mentioned as a possibility of signing him. They have lost Aubusson and more than likely SBW and the Morris boys won't be there next year and they have not made any major signings. So they could no doubt "legally" fit him in.

Morris boys will be there, according to what I have read.

Hope so - i thought over the last few weeks they have really looked off the pace. Not like the roosters to make recruitment mistakes. But then they signed SBW. Maybe the loss of Hartigan is seeing them come back to the field recruitment wise.

Definitely agree about the Morris boys. Finals football really found them out. But SBW, for a guy who has come back and had a few weeks of training and only played a few games he was great for them agaisnt the raiders. I’d have him in my team any day .

He did have a pre season with the Wolf pack. Obviously no where near as intense as here but he didn't arrive without some football under his belt.

That was like 4 months before he came back?

Still he had an off season and played a few games before coming here. He has played 5 games here with limited minutes. In my opinion he wouldn't stand up to a full season. Anyway it's a moot point as it's been reported he will not play on with the roosters.

It was actually 6 months between games, that is not a good preperation for the NRL.

Fine who cares. It wasn't even why I mentioned him. I brought him up as I said him leaving and Aubusson leaving and possibly Morris boys would free up enough to go after JAC and I couldn't understand why they haven't.

Because that is 4 players being replaced with one, it doesn't work like that. The Morris brothers weren't on much and SBW only played a small part of the season so wouldn't free up a lot of room when part of their salar would need to be used for their replacements as well.

I'm not sure that matters so much these days, particularly given modern training methods and players' devotion to fitness.

For example, Jacob Liddle was injured on 15 August 2019 against Manly and spent the best part of the next year in rehab.

He played his first game exactly 1 year later against the Dogs on 16 August 2020 - in fact he started in that match and played long minutes and ran 100 metres.

The following week he started against Easts, played long minutes and ran 100 metres again.

The fitness levels of the modern day player, particularly after a long break, is amazing.
