Bulldogs friend saying that JAC has told bulldogs he wants to go to them. But can’t due to the signed heads of agreement. That’s why Barrett said it was complicated when interviewed. JAC threatening to go back to Melbourne if tigers won’t tear up the agreement. Not sure how reliable but it makes alot of sense.

If that's true we should tell him to enjoy Melbourne for another year. No way should we allow ourselves to be intimidated like this.

Agree we can’t do a matterson here and roll over. You either play with us or enjoy Melbourne for another 12 months if the above is true. Might also be why he said no when asked if he had signed a heads of an agreement

Also appears our little heads of agreement might have a bit more legal grunt than many thought it had!

Or because the storm still don’t have a replacement hahahah. Think all the bulldogs rumours are complete media rubbish made due to the amount of time it’s taken to get this deal over the line

Basing this simply off the comments from our chairman and the forgotten man post on Facebook. Forgotten man post should be taken with a few kilos of salt but the chairman must feel somewhat confident to say stuff like that in such a public space.

Feels a little like Groundhog Day in here sometimes.
Think the club has done everything correctly and the offer is there for him - if he wishes to entertain it or not. Agree with many others that the origin period is likely holding things up, so the waiting shouldn't be too far off.
Only comes down to two things, we land him or we don't.
In the wise words of Woodsy... It is what it is.

Let's face it if JAC has signed a HOA and it's water tight and he does want out even though Melbourne are actually going to let him go than he has a big decision to make

What's more important to him?

Family or getting out of HOA

He has been quoted as saying he doesn't care what club as long as it's in Sydney

Time will tell

If true the club has no treason to tear up the heads of agreement, but the media hammering we would get for not letting JAC move to Sydney to his preferred club would be horrendous I’m sure. Never mind the fact Melbourne refuse to release him

Perhaps the Chairman's words were meant for other clubs interested in JAC?

The way our Chairman described it sounds like it does

Why on earth would he sign a heads of agreement without been 100% confident in his decision to come here? There is no way he could be that stupid
Don’t get caught I’m in all this media rubbish he is waiting for Melbourne to give him a release then he will be comming here

I hope haha

If this is true then I hope that JAC can live with what appears to be a lie regarding his urgent need to be with his family in Sydney. Like family can wait?

I like the optics of our Chaiman, being firm principal of Brydens and major sponsor of the Blues, asking Freddie if he has an issue with WTs. Also his words about the HOA for JAC directed to a particular audience? It's not often WTs' supporters witness some of the big players in the NRL being made to feel uncomfortable by our club.

That’s why it isn’t true. Not once has he said he’d be keen to stay in Melbourne , all media talk

I really hope, for the sake of both JAC and Wests Tigers, that what you are saying is correct.

It’s managers playing games and Melbourne pushing us to do a deal with them, scare tactics.

If it's true (it might be rubbish) that he would rather go to the bulldogs I think it's a reasonable question to ask why. I get why we lose out to the other top 8 teams, that's understandable, but losing out to the dogs would be a little bit embarrassing.
