I am sure a Bulldog supporter would suggest he wants to go to them. I know we have been poor for some time however the dogs are terrible and would make me want to stay in Melbourne another season before joining them. I know it has gone extremely quite but lets wait and see once Origin is over and where this all falls. It may be that he said he is not worried as he has a contract with us and has every intention to honour it if released by the storm

Agree and they don’t have a stable club management so there is not a lot going for them.

if there is no NDA then come out in public and slam him, then release him to go anywhere he wants.

let's not stoop to their levels.

Bulldogs friend saying that JAC has told bulldogs he wants to go to them. But can’t due to the signed heads of agreement. That’s why Barrett said it was complicated when interviewed. JAC threatening to go back to Melbourne if tigers won’t tear up the agreement. Not sure how reliable but it makes alot of sense.

Nice story ...... I can make up another 1000 variations on that.
Would keep bulldogs people happy .... so yea we swallowed all other rubbish so we may as well dedicate another 30 pages to that one.

Story?? Just passing on what I heard. This is a forum isn’t it? Or do we just post what we want to hear.

I just think there is way too much smoke. Barret gets interviewed and says they are in talks with JAC but it’s complicated. JAC says he didn’t sign a heads of agreement. Our chair comes out and say he did. Stories floating around that he is considering staying in Melbourne another year. Way too much smoke about this signing. Hope it’s nothing but we’ve been played before so it wouldn’t be the first time.

Pfft. Bulldogs supports get their info from the Telecrap. Only publication that writes at a level stupid enough for them to understand.

They're getting Mansour on a subsidised deal. He's what they need. Not Jac in any case.

There's also no way Josh's agent would let him sign a document if he wasn't 100% sure he'd like to come to the Tigers. It's insurance for us but very little Benefit for Josh to do so.

While I have no inside info it seems Josh has signed for 2022 and much like South's with arrow, talks are revolving around a swap for an early release. Storm have made it clear and it's not Josh's place to force us to trade someone for him. Yet we're being put under pressure to make a sacrifice but trying to hold firm. A stalemate hence the rumours to try scare us into relenting

I agree it seems like a real possibility given a few things said by a few players in the saga. Of course it might be totally wrong, but I think it may have legs

We struggle to attract top line 1st graders and some on here want to treat our young talented kids with disrespect to force an issue.

What a way to totally destroy any chance at getting top junior talent.

Sorry but the person saying force Talau or give Nofo sounds like we are in panic mode for a winger... a WINGER!!! Seriously why??? He isn’t going to be that much of a difference especially now we don’t have a 80min hooker, a fullback, missing a winger and a half....

We must stop going after the first shiny object at any cost and credit to our club for finally standing firm on this.

If we miss out on JAC at least we didn’t give in at any cost to get a speedy winger.... If we get him it will be on our terms.

JAC is a significant upgrade on Nofoaluma. Nofoaluma had his best year in attack and still couldn't make the SOO team. Listening to Fittker he didn't seem close,

JAC is an SOO and Kangaroo rep. They are not like for like.

Yeah and by that logic gutherson is better on the edge than cotric. The rep selection to justify that someone is better is lazy and in this case absolutely untrue. Jac looks good at the storm, nofo looks good at the tigers and that's a bloody miracle.

JAC looked pretty good in SOO, looked great at the WTs previously and equally good in the Green and Gold.

Yes, you're absolutely going in my direction. It's harder to look good when your forwards are so bad that you have to go in and do the hard carries yourself. In a team with big forwards and real playmakers yeah Jac is good.

Which team are you referring to?

All of his teams. SOO, roos storm.
Don't get me wrong he's awesome, he has great energy and seems to frequently defuse fights in the field. I would love to have him here. Bur he is simply a different player to nofo, he is a speedster, nofo is a tackle buster.

Totally agree, what’s the attraction? The coach perhaps? Anyway isn’t JAC’s family supposed to be Tigers supporters, wasn’t he a supporter growing up?

Also appears our little heads of agreement might have a bit more legal grunt than many thought it had!

This is what happens when you muck around with a club that is sponsored by a law firm ?

poor guy gets slammed for posting something that makes much more sense than JAC coming here considering the way this has played out so far.

There's no way JAC is coming. Why would he say he's thinking of staying in Melbourne another year if he has a 4 year offer from us on the table and he is desperately homesick. Would've happened by now. This thread should be closed so people dont waste more time posting on here only to end up bitter in the next month when it doesnt eventuate. Bulldogs are a more desirable club than us because of their history being a club of power - until the COE is done and we make the 8 - we dont really offer anything , even though Doggies finished below us lately there is more optimism there with a roster overhaul , a powerful benefatcor in the Laundy's and the clubs history.

Did JAC himself say he will stay in Melbourne? It came from a journo which means it came from his manager who are notorious liars
