Definitely looks like a panic option. I just hope the lock stuff is rubbish, sounds like the Foran playing at hooker lie.

I like the idea of having him as a ball playing lock - although I think that is just cover to not say that they dont have faith in Brooks tbh. He is slower than Doueihi which is why I dont mind the idea of having him at lock. It would be one of the slowest half pairings in the world lol.

This club needs to perform on the paddock ..time for the hard decisions there will be collateral damage . This has been coming for a long time only the most glued on fan Boys would not see it ..there are a few clubs that would take on Brooks if this is the case ,I believe this is a great opportunity for Luke have said this many times !

I’ve heard from someone close to him that it is close to that. They told me in a shocked manner and they are usually pretty reliable with things so I think it might right.

Suggest the ball playing lock is a negotiating tactic not exactly saying what they want him for. Heck many possible options inc if Brooks is interested going to ESL himself as a swap. Gee, I so hope it can get across the line- almost worth any price. A much better option than Reynolds in age and longevity from injuries.

Madge knows he needs to do something cause he’s a big chance to be sacked if we go bad this year but Hastings haven’t seen much of him lately but he was rubbish when he left the nrl and super league that’s only just better than 2nd grade
