He hasn't taken his chances in first grade, I no everyone on this forum thinks hes the next Joey Johns but he hasn't shown anything in first grade close to the hype he has

neither has Humble,or Junior Moors but they keep getting a go .

Miller has never taken his chances, don't make excuses for him. He's played 5-6 games in first grade.

Its not about dominating in these games, but it is about looking the part. Sironen looked like he had something from his first touch, so did Tedesco, but Miller has not looked the part. Im not expecting him to make line breaks and set up tries in his first few games. But I do expect him to give us options at the line (which he never did) and at least kick well (which he definitely didn't do)….as they are natural halfback abilities.

Some poster in here summed it up beautifully, He has looked poor in first grade, don't make excuses, but he is young and we should persist with him. But none should come out with crap excuses that he hasn't been given a chance as he's looked nothing more than a passenger in first grade so far.

In all honesty how many times in the past few years has our forward pack really dominated, every halfback needs a good pack who are going forward,id like to see him given a chance with a good pack before id write him off. Just look at the souths half and the bulldogs five eight,both are playing well behind good strong packs.

I think Miller is a talent but as I have stated before he probably needs a full season in the NSW Cup or even better the Queensland Cup before he will be ready. It did wonders for DCE the year he played for Sunshine Coast in the Queensland Cup after playing NYC.

I have heard Miller will be gone next year and I hope that is not the case as he will be a good player in a few years.

Does anyone know if Miller trained most of the off season as the NRL half and the form of Tedesco in training meant that when it was realised that Moltzen would not be fullback that he was switched to the halfback? I have heard this through a couple of people.

Thurston was never a bulldogs reject they always had big wraps on him but the whole coffs habour scandal surround him that's why they had to let him not my choice.

So true

Thurston had behind the scene problems , he wasnt punted because of on field dramas.

Did you read my post ? I don't think that there was any personal attack - if anything georgebeema made a personal attack against me.

No need to lament Miller's departure if his performance today is any indication of his talents. Was completely outplayed by the Souths half - who by the way had an outstanding game.

How much first grade has he played? 1 or 2 games. I think he played during the canberra debacle in round 2 or 3, no one played well that game.

Jeez give the kid a go,let pay out the rest of the season. What have you got to lose at the moment?

Ahh what have you got too loose - umm a chance to win the nrl
