The Tigers recruiters are probably sorry they let Gibbs and Fifita leave and now I bet their sorry they swapped Humble for Mullany. The kids been on fire for Parra and Wentwothville before that. He is showing us the talent he had in Toyota cup.

Sheensy and the recruitment staff :crazy

Hard to disagree.

He always showed promise in the Toyota Cup, but "The Great One", refused to give him a shot…..egg on our face again???

Meh - I still think he is pretty average to be honest. Got a fair bit to do before we can start saying we made the wrong call.

Besides the decision was really down to Tedesco v Mullaney - as opposed to Humble v Mullaney. Humble has utility value and has been used as such this season.

Exactly Hybrid

I would also take Humble in front of mullaney.

He had one ggod play last night, the remainder he was manhandled and out of depth for mine.

We will do our usual and make him look like a star though next Monday.

He is probably a better fullback then Moltz but in fairness a box of Count Chocula probably offers more under the high ball than Moltz most days

not to mention he spilled admittedly a tough one leading to the broncos first try - I still think his last line defense is suspect - where the Beauster and Moltzen regularly make last line tackles to save tries.

You are joking right, Moltzen tackles like a girl on the line. Remember last year when Inu scored that try fot the warriors all Moltzen had to do was come in hard and we win the game instead he slid in on his knees with his eyes shut. He just doesn't put his body on the line, I'll give Beau Ryan that, he gives it his all but he is much better on the wing.

Or Lawrence just keep a hand on him Flash

So many poor efforts led to that loss. Moltzen was but one

Yep moltzen seems to hate tackling or being tackled which makes playing rugby league a difficult prospect!

I'm happy for Jake. Clearly he has talent that will only develop in first grade. Here though he was behind Moltzen and then the club had to make a choice, Mullaney or Tedesco? From the limited time i've seen of Tedesco, he looks like he has the potential develop into far better a player than Jake. His plusses far outweigh his minuses where as Mullaney seems to offer a more even mix of plusses and minuses.

I probably should have worded that better.

Moltzen as the LAST LINE of defense is good - ive seen him make some brilliant 1 on 1 tackles when the line has been broken.

Most fullbacks to be fair are pretty average on the goal-line and only if the situation is favourable they come up with a brilliant held up play.

I am not one who usally defend Moltzen. But you can't knock his last line defence.

Try saver on Lewis a couple a weeks ago. The hit he put on Mini last year. There are quiet a few that come to mind

Sheens made the right call. Mullaney did show promise as do a lot of the U20's players in attack but defense is 50% of the game and his defense certainly let him down.
After his mother decided to go to the papers and complain about her little boy not getting a run it was all down hill from there.

You just know he's gonna carve us up this week ! good on him i hope he does.
I think it's another FAIL from tigers recruitment, i'd rather keep him and play him on the wing then see him go to another club. He would def have got game time this year with the amount of injuries we've had, even if Tedesco was fit. Barba was never great in defence but look at him now, Mullaney will prob never be a Barba, but he looked pretty damn good against the Broncs last night !
Depth is not the Tigers strongsuit, but hey lets pay through the teeth for tuqiri and lets buy Reddy from Parra and not play him…
I can cop us losing games through the year if there is an outlook to the future. But there's not. Where's the young second rowers coming through ? Look at the bulldogs stocks, finucune, jackson, taupua, gavet, payne, stagg, halatau, pritchard, eastwood, foster ! and we've got Bell, BMM and Blair !! awesome...
Fulton and heigno arent exactly spring chickens either, and bodene, braith and pettybourne aren't exactly the future of the club. So who is ??
i want these questions answered... NOW !!! haha jokin, but seriously, Tigers, tough run home, i rate us an outside chance at best to make the 8, i'd love to see sheens give some young blokes a run and try something different.

We have a heap coming through the NYC. Vela, Santi, Lovett are every bit the talent that those up and coming bulldogs players are, I also think BMM is pretty good as well. Not to mention Tedessco, Korobete, Noafluma, Sironen who look like almost certain NRL players.

Umm…Yes Mullaney had 1 good game last night. Why was he playing again? Oh yeah thats right Parra's first choice Fullback is out for the year, so in other words, he is not a first choice player at, at least 2 clubs. If he was 1st grade quality he would've been playing 1's last year or the year before. Geez, I things are going great people but some perspective. We do give young blokes ago. Just can't fit 38 - 18 and 19 year old into a team of 17\. Siro Jr, benji, Lawrence, Ashyford, Woods, Groat, Miller, Tedesco and now Koro were/are all young when given FG debuts. Oh yeah....Go Tigers.
