There was a reference to him on the Terror on Friday:

_The Top End hosts rugby league's National Under 15s tournament this weekend. Scouts have advised us to keep an eye on James Cogger, son of ex-Magpies playmaker Trevor._

Have we got James Cogger lined up to play Harold Matthews with either Wests or Balmain?
 
There was a story on his uncle John in RLW this week,but trevor played the most grade games for Wests,a great clubman.

Trevor's daughter is a friend of mine and I'm certain his name is jack, anyway, regardless, hope he's a hot prospect

I believe James is Trevor Cogger's nephew, not son.

I know trevor through our sons and I can tell you his name is Jack , brilliant player and the article must have got his name wrong as it was about the junior rep players playing in NT over the weekend … which he was . He has been brought up through the central coast system and have heard whispers of the knight or the doggies securing him
 
What a shame … If he had the heart of John Cogger and the guile and skill of Trevor Cogger, he would make it in the big time for Wests Tigers for sure.
 
It would be good to have another father son connection coming through, hope we can sign him to one of our junior squads, or at least by NYC.

Although I remember Trevor Cogger, I didn't see much of him, given the Magpies didn't get much TV time and I was a tigers player, I know he was pretty much Wests best in that era, what sort of player was he?? whose style was he most like.
 
Jack goes to McKillop High on the Central Coast.There are big rapes on him up here, a really solid halfback ,I believe he was in the Knights Harold Matt's squad.

Results in paper this morning. Cogger scored two tries in NSWCCC win over Queensland.

Rumours are he didn't start the game and was eating a pie in the grand stand before being put on the field just after half time….
