Agree …. Imagine what the team of "dickheads" century would look like?
Lui at 7; carney at 6; Albert Kelly at 1; Anthony watts at 9; Greg bird at 11; who wants to contribute....

1\. Inglis
2\. Isaac Gordon
3.
4.
5.
6\. Carney
7\. Lui
8\. Mason
9\. Watts
10.
11\. Bird
12\. Watmough
13\. Myles

I'll leave Monas out, despite doing something stupid, I'm actually impressed with how he handles himself in interviews when asked about it. It was more an embarrassing moment for him than a dickhead act.

6\. John Elias/Carney
7\. Craig Field/Lui
10\. Richard Villasanti

14\. John Hapoate/Arana Taumata
15\. Payton

Unfortunately, too many ex Tigers in this group :crazy

That idiot who played in the halves for Penrith and St George. Had massive tickets on himself and disappeared into a black hole after a season or two. Can't think of his name but he took dickheadedness to a new level. Made Anthony Mundine look modest in comparison

SOUTH SYDNEY'S bright new era has been built on the discipline of coach Michael Maguire. The sacking of James Roberts, rated one of the best talents coming through the club, will be seen as the clearest example yet that everyone is expected to conform.

After repeated breaches of his contract, Roberts, the nephew of former NRL star Amos Roberts and a player considered ''something special'' by club officials, was sacked this week, along with his Toyota Cup teammate Adrian Ha'angana.

Roberts's manager, Darryl Mather, yesterday said his client would not contest the breach notice, but was confident he would find a home at another club.

Roberts played 10 NRL matches last year, scoring five tries, and was in the Toyota Cup team of the year. Before his NRL debut, Rabbitohs boss Shane Richardson said: ''We think he shapes up as the long-term fullback here, and now he gets the chance to show what he can do.''

Now he must do that elsewhere. Mather said he held no malice towards the Rabbitohs over their decision, saying: ''We're just going to get on with business. James is a young player, and the onus now will be on placing him at a club which is the right fit for him.''

Despite a long disciplinary record for such a young player, Mather did not doubt Roberts could find a new club. ''He's an outstanding talent; he'll be fine,'' he said. ''Souths have done nothing wrong here. It didn't quite work out for either party. He's a young boy and he's learning what it takes to be a pro footballer. He's learnt some lessons. He's a good boy though. We're not talking about big issues. He's just grappling with becoming a pro footballer. He's a fantastic young talent and our job is to place him where he can become that pro footballer, in an environment which helps him.''

He goes against our “No Dickheads” policy.

Pity we don't use that policy for on field antics as well

We might have a side that performs every week

We need the no bonehead policy for what happens on the field.
If we don't make more stupid decisions than any other team I'll go jump.

Just watched some highlights to refresh my memory. He would be close to the fastest player in the nrl. Based on other opinions of the 20's i'd like to see:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Ryan/Roberts
3\. Nofo
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koro/Roberts

14\. Roberts/Moltzen

All the talk about him being a dickhead is presumptuous. No one here knows what he did to get sacked, but given the lack of any reporting of playing up on the drink &/or violence - it obviously wasn't an atrocity against humanity. More than likely a string of unprofessional behaviour (e.g. late for/no show for training). Getting sacked might be the kick in the pants he needs to realise what he is at risk of losing. If he takes the game & his training seriously, this kid could be another Ben Barber.

Am I the only one who's sick of having such a "nice" team? Why can't we have a complete prick on our team, it's probably what we need haha

Because in a few years we would have no supporters and no money and win 0 games - but if thats what your keen on feel free to support the old souths who didnt win a premiership since (well back in the 50s sometime) or perhaps the Sharks who have never won one or the Cowboys who have never won one or parramatta the last couple of years who mfilled thier team with dickheads and lost almost every game

???? Calm down mate, do you honestly think having one agro player who other teams hate correlates with not winning games? Look at manly, they have matai and watmough and are the most consistent team over the past 6-7 years

I don't think I'm the only one but i like having a clean team.. No grubs or dickheads is good. Barely any offfield dramas and we are one of the most liked clubs in the NRL .. Better then being hated..

Is this amos roberts nephew? He is pretty quick i hear he could be our fullback, but I have also heard penrith will probably sign him but not sure where they will put him in the starting lineup though.
