I don't know what it takes to please you guys.

Teddy is still the same human as the one that became many people's (including me) favourite player. He is still James Tedesco but you guys ritise him to the point where if he gave every single cent of his roosters contract to charity you still wouldn't be happy.

Some people are whingers, Teddy is doing a good thing and give him the credit he deserves.

He is still one of our best players whether you like it or not.

He may be leaving at the end of the year but whilst he is still wearing our coulours I will still cheer him on.

This was a nice act to the young fella and I know how it feels as the other week I went into the sheds, met the players and got a present from Liddle.

Leave the poor bloke alone, he is still trying and a small act of kindness can go a long way.

Good Job Teddy!!!

I've forgotten how old you said you were Ben, was it 13 or 14? Either way you show great maturity, you are certainly more mature than the whining hatemongers on here.

I think it is hillarious you claim to be 13\. So obviously a club shill. You need more practice though, as your slip is showing.

It's funny to see all of the people who still haven't gotten over the whole Tedesco saga. Some people make him sound worse than Satan.

I don't care he is leaving. Money talks and he took it.
I don't begrudge that for a second.
I just hate his manager and his slimy cohorts in the media.
**Just look at the authors name for a start. She probably doesn't know the first thing about football or even watch it.**
It's a fluff piece put in place for positive publicity.

Can't work out if that is sexist, racist or both?

Seems to have a lot more sense that some 'supposed' grown ups still carrying on like little babies, spitting the dummy and name calling a few players because they chose to move on.

There are numerous players every weekend who do this.
The fact it has been reported suggests it was not a completely altruistic action. It seems staged, which is more in character with this player and his management.

Well get ready folks, when Turdesco joins the Roosters he's going to give away TEN pairs of boots every week to poor little Roosters supporters (are there any?).

Video: Tigers star James Tedesco makes young fan’s dream come true

AUGUST 8, 201711:50AM

WHEN Ashton Azzopardi woke on Monday morning he thought his emotional encounter with NRL star James Tedesco was all a dream. But the meeting that has touched the hearts of league lovers all over, became even more of a reality when the pair caught up again, this time to kick a footy. Tedesco handed over a pair of personalised pink boots after Ashton had waited to meet the star fullback on Sunday following the Tigers’ clash with the Panthers at Pepper Stadium.

The experience left the 10-year old in tears, as he was overwhelmed by the generous gesture. But better was to come. On Monday afternoon the pair reunited, with Tedesco giving up even more of his time to kick a footy around with Ashton, who it’s safe to say is the Blues’ star’s number one fan.

Lol this coverage is getting ridiculous, almost on level with a campaigning politician lol….
Maybe young Ashton has a hot mother?

I have witnessed Teddy going out of his way to make a fans day long before the contract drama and when he was out with his friends, away from the field. It was for someone in my family made their night and he was openly friendly and approachable. Didnt need to be - came naturally
I am as disappointed as anyone that he is leaving but referring to him as "Turdesco" is about as immature as it comes.

Birds of the same feather flock together.

Its really sad how many apologists these guys have. It boggles the mind. These guys spat in the club and supporters faces, told us they are above us, and people defend them to the hilt.

What proof do you have of me not being 13

I agree. I have no idea why people are sticking up for these low life human beings. They have behaved atrociously towards the club and the fans.

Anyone sticking up for these guys has rocks in their head.
