James Tedesco

Teddy didn't make it in the nrl.com top 5 fullbacks of the comp. Obviously it's a very competitive list but if you take the Tigers-coloured glasses off for a sec, where does everyone rate him right now?

I saw WTs facebook had a whinge about that with the heading, "See where they put him"….then wasting my time with the following article only proiding their top 5

If you compared all those no 1's AND their teams around them, and then what they manged to achieve, itd be teddy...daylight, night time....then a week...then RTS etc etc

Let's see how RTS goes at the Warriors… That pommy bloke was pretty special too until he went there.

I'd have Teddy at #5 behind Inglis; Slater; Dugan & Boyd. I feel Teddy just beats Coote and then I'd consider RTS & Moylan.

Happy: does Teddy rate Taylor or does his old man rate Taylor?

On 2016 form Teddy is number one by a mile, including RTS.

Agreed,if that top five was on 15 form alone I reckon Inglis,Slater and Stewart wouldnt even get in.

I would have Teddy-RTS-Dugan-Coote-Moylan.

Do you thing James may leave at the end of his two years. I think he will stay because He is pretty loyal to the West Tigers. And is one of the crowd most loved.

James is extremely happy at the WT's and **even happier with Jason Taylor**

The world would certainly need to go amiss for James to leave the WT's

Hope he doesn't like him enough to follow him if he gets punted.

How could you possibly rate Wighton ahead of Teddy as a fullback? What part of a fullback's skillset does he have over Teddy? Speed? Tackle-breaking ability? Ball playing? Support play? Positional awareness in defence? Commitment in defence? None of them. Teddy is a complete package as a fullback and up there with Slater at his best when he's on song. Wighton is in the mould of an Inglis or a Dugan but not at their level yet.

Tedesco is a wonderful talent and my opinion on Wighton is no reflection on him. Wighton is an exceptional talent who can play five eight, centre and fullback. He is one of two players, the other being James Roberts, I would like to see in our backline.

I'd suggest his ability to play three positions highlights his skillset. It is only my opinion but his versatility will put him in strong contention for SOO. As for pace, I rate him faster than Tedesco. In the link you will see Wighton run down both Simona and Tedesco although Tedesco did score a great try of a fine Moses pass. Refer Rnd 22 highlights on you tube WTs v Raiders.

During our Leichhardt Oval clash in high winds, Wighton did exceptionally well under the high ball. Tedesco struggled with the high ball during this game. But this being said, I'd be very pleased to have both in our team.

A nice story on Jack Wighton. A very proud Orange and CRL product.

2nd after RTS. That's with my Tigers glasses off based on 2015 form.

I haven't watched a lot of RTS however I think he is better than RTS from what I've seen. I don't think he is as good as Inglis when Inglis is on fire.

did you see the poll after the article?
~32% said RTS and ~17% said teddy. inglis had like 9% which was 3rd.
tedesco is definitely a hot property
