OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

They can't possibly play him. What a joke of a club we are.
Whether you rate Luai or not the headlines around this club are all about our failures around people who are brought to the club to try and make it successful.
Bloody embarrassing. If we were flying at the top of the comp great but as usual we are not.
This is not good management.

He wouldn’t have gone good there either, he needs a dominant controlling half like Nathan which the dogs don’t have
But, but, but Doggies have Lloyd.

The combination of Jerome and Lloyd would have all the Doggies supporters thinking that all their Christmases had come at once. 🤣

Agreed it starts at the top.
But it's always someone else's fault isn't it. They always point the finger at those they have put in charge and take no ownership.
Same song

That’s happens when a club has no leadership. No one in a high position who commands respect. I can’t remember the last season a player or coach did not walk out

Ryan Matterson
Ivan Cleary
IPap
Stefano
Galvin
TDS

We have no leadership. Therefore, no respect.
Agree been happening for too long not to be coincidental to our leadership DNA

An optimistic perspective and that this isn't as bad as we are initially thinking (who can blame us after the shit we have copped as fans).

I have a theory.. based on nothing but my own assessment of luai and his relationship with Benji and Latu.

Luai's rates Latu highly.. so highly thatv Galvin wanted to leave because he knew long term the plan was to move Galvin to 13 to accommodate latu.

Maybe, just maybe, luai is putting Latu first.. that his comment on socials last week was in reference to latu.. and that he knows within himself he isn't all in with the tigers anymore with one eye on PNG.

Maybe???

Tbh i know our stupid clauses allowed this circus but he's been more trouble than he's worth. He led the way with the Galvin fiasco which derailed that season. Then he went on to do something similar to what Galvin did, which derailed this season now he's being petulant in the background.
He's not a leader certainly not a captain, give me Doueihi everyday of the week and twice on Sunday's, can't go soon enough imo.

I find this hard to believe because who would want him?

And people thought he was the saviour? It was clear Penrith didn't want him and there was a reason why. He may have changed the attitude a bit in the club and maybe helped bring a player or two to the club but his perfomances have been sub par, so overall, a failure and a very expensive one.

Lets hope he's not in the ear of some of the current players, and lets hope he's not talking the joint down in general, outside the club.

I still hope that he's going to play to part of the level of what we're paying him, he still may have it in him.
