Jason Taylor all set for first day

Not sure what Rod Reddy brings to the club …........ albeit his role should be relatively minor.

The new Royceee, custodian of the witches hat, sets the pace in bonding sessions and sent to press conferences after massive losses. Every club has one, a legend from yesterday on the books who know body really knows what they do or what they get paid for!!!!!!

Probably just a face that JT can trust, someone who he has worked with before and knows what to expect from him.

"Rod Reddy and I worked together previously at Parramatta. To be honest, we chatted to a few guys about that role and for one reason or another, things didn't work out with getting them on board. Then one day I was driving and racking my brain about the role, then my phone rang and it was Rod Reddy. He said, 'I'm not sure if there is anything going at the moment, but keep me in mind'. It was perfect timing."

This doesnt sound real professional, like the professional he was telling all the players to think about and act and be - professional.

This sounds like…"Oh ..he'll do"

we now have more support staff than players, remember the days of the captain coach, how things have changed. I wonder if endless coaches really makes a difference ??? I get the feeling it becomes follow the leader, the wealthy successful clubs do it so the battlers do the same. Anyway we had to make changes after the last few years so lets hope it works

Yes and No Ink

How many times in life do we go looking for a complex answer to a simple question when the answer is staring us in the face and we just need a simple reminder

not a bad move by JT. We don't need high profiled assistant coaches that are thinking they are in with a shot at head coach. This can be very unsettling, as we saw last year.
i'd prefer high profiled S&C staff over high profiled AC's

JT interview on WT website today is quite interesting.
Was happy to admit Reddy wasn't his first choice for a spot on the coaching staff but a few other candidates fell through and then reddy called him and he gave him a shot. Seemed to feel comfortable with this outcome. Said reddy was a "great details coach" and would deal a lot with not just the nrl squad but mostly helping the players in first division and 20s who are on the cusp of first grade getting their skills up to the required level.

Listen to the Taylor interview….

I must admit listening to Brooksy's interview today cracked me up. Poor kid gets so nervous and goes on complete rambles. You can tell he's thinking so hard about how to answer the question half the time he forgets what the question was and just repeats himself haha.
