Doesn't have to be the winger, solid centre could pitch in as well, but yeah it's a balancing act.

Perfect set up would be the outside backs on both sides, 1 speedster, one power runner, plus a quick fullback.

Not always about pace right across, look at the Raiders, envy the Phins some of their outside backs are powerful and fast.

I reckon Skelton could eventually end up as a back rower, plenty have made the move from backs to forwards. He’s certainly built for it !

Skelton can score tries close to the line, as we witnessed yesterday but he's too slow for a winger adding to the lack of pace in the backline.

Bring in when injuries hit only.

Gets caught out defensively a lot because of his lack of pace, but he is good at the dirty yards and can finish a backline raid

Yeah if he’s happy to be 4th or 5tf choice winger then I’m very happy for him to stay, at least gives us a big body

Madden does a job , but for me his defence is poor and he doesn’t take the line on , and has no pace for a top 1/2 back

Agree , good back up player and has been solid , tigers better get finger out or he will def get a club next year easy , what’s the problem

Only thing I can think of Seb Kris might be replacing him, Tigers think he might be more consistent, Skelton does drift in and out of form.

Depends on price. At $200k yes. If we're serious, Skelton is depth only. Good out of yardage, good finisher but he has no leap to attack high balls and susceptible to poor decisions.

Skelton is underated I reckon.

He should have always been selected before the likes of Tavana and Luke. L.

Without knowing behind the scenes, he got crucified for one in goal brain snap while others did far worse.

I hope we hold onto Skelton.

Having a big body adding a bit of impact has really helped over the past few weeks.

I was surprised he has only played 35 first grade games. Even though he's no spring chicken, there could be some upside.

Maka will be a starter on the wing next year( or prop if doesnt speed up a bit)..Herbery has a more complete game...so Ive got Skelton coming in about 4th choice (but ahead of our other one try wing wonder) ..
$250k is about right,but other clubs may see it differently

I've often thought of that possibility, problem is I doubt Skelton has the motor or defense for the 2nd row.
