Dylan Smith drops the ball bringing it back from a scrum win. 2 plays after the scrum Manly number 10 scores under the posts after running through 6 tackles up the guts. Really bad defence. Manly 12-4\. 9 to go 1st half.

Good try to tigers in the corner with Heath Gibbs finishing of the backline movement. The Ben Stavanovich kicks the goal from the sideline. Manly 16-10 with 28 left. (Only 35 min halves)

manly kick out on the full and we start a set on the 40m line. Nice kick through on the last by Connelly Lemeulu for Peter Pakoti to score. Coversion missed. Manly 16-14\. 16 to go.

Penalty for attacking the kicker. Heath Gibbs made a good little run down the wing to have us on their line and Ben Seufale braces over. Conversion successful. Wests 20-16\. 12 to go.

Edward Carter knocks on as he tries to barge over. Manly score in the corner off the 7 tackle set and a couple of soft penalties - unnecessary strip. Conversion unsuccessful 20 all. 2 1/2 to go.

Short kick off and tigers get it back and run away to score. Tigers win 26 -21

wow that sounded like a great finish for the boys

Glad they finally got a win, hopefully they can back it up next week

Thanks for the updates

happy to provide the updates guys.

All the boys were delighted with the win and it was well earned.

Our side looked small even for an under 20s side. Not sure if we are loaded with younger guys or just a smaller team.

All the guys put in and never gave up. We lost a prop Harrison Leonard after coming on for 2 minutes was off injured so the forwards had to play longer minutes. Another of the bench forwards Riley Cheshire seemed sick and only played about 10-15minutes.

Both the starting props Ben Seufale and Edward Carter ran really hard and made good metres but both were a little lazy around the ruck but it is under 20s

The 13 Alex Seyfarth was a workhorse and made a heap of tackles, plenty of runs and was constantly organising the team. Needs to put on some bulk as he is a tall red head but has potential.

The 6 Connelly Leumuelu had some good touches in the second half and appears to have a good short kicking game.

Our development players:
Heath Gibbs looks the goods was switching between wing and centre. Had some good touches and was good in defence.

Dylan Smith was too quite for a fullback and made a few unforced errors. Seems to have a tall gangly build which may hinder him as he progresses.

Really happy for this team as they really wanted the win and didn’t let anyone down. They fought their way back into the game in the 2nd half with good spirit.

The last 5 minutes of this game were some of the craziest I have seen.

1st Edward Carter smashed his way through and should have slammed the ball down but loses it as he is spinning out of the tackle. Would have put Wests up by 10.

Next Manly march down the field and get two penalties which seemed to come from panicked play and they score out wide. 20-20.

From the kick off Manly march down field and kick a field goal from 40 out. It was a very good kick. Everyone thought that was game over.

To finish it off short kick off three Manly players and one Tiger go up for it. It bounces off the Manly hands and the number 19 sweeps around to pick it up and charges down the sideline to score untouched. The crowd and players go nuts!!!
