He is from Scone, he will go ok. Shame he isn't from Aberdeen though lol.

Our 2nd half from Scone.

Who was the other?

John Morris, I played 5/8th outside him for Scone High in 1997. He was only in year 10 lol

Hope Madden is Religious. He is going to cop it.

He is praying while we speak.....an hour of prayer each day up until kickoff...
God bless the lad....

Biggest issue for Jock this Sunday will be playing behind what will most likely be a badly beaten forward pack. If he's any chance of having a good game, he needs a platform to play from. Our pack struggles with that...

Wishing the best for his starting debut, but I don't like what will likely happen.

Hopefully Madge is getting stuck into the pack telling them to not get dominated.

Almost being dubbed the next big thing like Brooks was years ago.

Good luck to him, but I have seen nothing in KOE Cup to suggest that he is a great player.

Which fans were crying out for Jock to get a run? No offence to the kid but he's had barely any reserves-level game time and this opposition is as tough as any. He'll do well to stay roughly competitive.

It’s just typical sensationalism. Since when is he a prodigy?

I saw that too. It’s unreasonable pressure to put on a guy making his debut.

Has a better junior rep playing background than some of the other kids who have come into firsts at other clubs this year.
Saw a few reserve grade games before they got scuppered and he goes ok without being what you would call a standout.
Tough game to get your first big minutes.

Poor bugger. What a game to start in, rather than off the bench. Opposite Luai with Clearly as the half, probably the best in the comp at the moment.

Hope Madden nails it and has a blinder....

Of course it's highly unlikely he'll be a standout but these games are all about building for next season. Madden has always been very highly rated. Was the hottest halfback in the country a couple of years ago. Was great at SG Ball, NSW u18s and Flegg level.

Give him 2 games this season so he knows what to work on for 2022. He's a batter match for Brooks than Douiehi is -he's about organisation, kicking game and goal kicking. He can leave the try assists to Luke.

I was one, and think he should have been tried earlier. He is a genuine half, not a manufactured one.. Don't expect miracles, but given time, i think he would be the perfect partner for Brooks.

It's going to be hard against pamfers, the dogs game will be a better test

Not religious at all but I will say a little prayer for the young bloke.

If Tim Sheens was here at the moment he would be our very own Jock Cronk.

if Madden fires next two games we might be looking at 2022
3 Douhie
6 Brooks
7 Madden
9 Simpkin
13 Hastings
14 Liddle
