What happened to him?

In NYC he looked rather promising but then just disappeared?

Is he injured or was he released?

Still in rehab after shoulder surgery. Shouldn't be far away from resuming.

Form tailed off last year but expect to see him having a run at some stage.

I don't think Joel has the robustness to play in the forwards where he moved to in 2010 - and given there are stronger centre options at the club I am unsure whether he will be able to force his way back post-rehab!
