When did he get the freedom to be overseas?Maybe they are being petty, but I also thought the freedom to be overseas he had last season was ridiculous.

I think the main point is he has not had a break at all after Warrington and England duties and he is entitled to one. I'm no fan, but you have to be fair and objective.Maybe they are being petty, but I also thought the freedom to be overseas he had last season was ridiculous.
It was written into his contract by Sheens because his daughter lives thereWhen did he get the freedom to be overseas?
Surely he could find a Doctor to give him a certificate (sick) for the 21st December. It's also an RPLA thing players get 6 weeks off a year. Last Sunday UK/Monday here was his last game the 4th of November. Do 6 weeks that's how they calculated December 21 I believe.
So we are expecting Luai back before Christmas. It's also an RPLA thing players get 6 weeks off a year. Last Sunday UK/Monday here was his last game the 4th of November. Do 6 weeks that's how they calculated December 21 I believe.
Yes, agree - they are clearly trying to put pressure on him to leave.I think the main point is he has not had a break at all after Warrington and England duties and he is entitled to one. I'm no fan, but you have to be fair and objective.
True but that's on the organisation. I can understand why they got Klemmar, we had no forward leader. Bateman for two years I could of lived with. Not 4.Hurts knowing we're still going to be paying players to play elsewhere.
Been happening for years.
Sullivan, Bateman.
What a burden.
Last offseason they let him go overseas then return to training later than everyone else. I’m pretty sure. When did he get the freedom to be overseas?
I think he definitely makes an appearance! He will set the toneSo we are expecting Luai back before Christmas.
Interesting.
Been already said- a panic signing by the prev admin trying to nullify bad press over Brooks leaving. They had no idea about Luai, nor prepared to bide time. Amatuers. Similarly signing of Bateman was wanting a 'big name'True but that's on the organisation. I can understand why they got Klemmar, we had no forward leader. Bateman for two years I could of lived with. Not 4.
No idea why Sullivan was offered any contract. He's no organiser, he's small and struggles in defence and he hadn't done anything before we got him. Packer, Blair, Bateman. I think Sullivan was the worst of the lot. 500k for a backup that lost every game he played in.
A contract was one thing. 4 years was another. Did absolutely nothing to warrant that length of contract.True but that's on the organisation. I can understand why they got Klemmar, we had no forward leader. Bateman for two years I could of lived with. Not 4.

Given his experience they are entitled to 10 weeksIt's also an RPLA thing players get 6 weeks off a year. Last Sunday UK/Monday here was his last game the 4th of November. Do 6 weeks that's how they calculated December 21 I believe.
I'm hoping it's a win either way. Either he leaves or he knuckles down. I've never been one to doubt his effort.Bateman needs to stay in his lane, be a good company man, and do what he's employed to do. In return, I think the club needs to do right by him as well.
Same. I don't think he was anywhere near as bad as some might want you to believe.I'm hoping it's a win either way. Either he leaves or he knuckles down. I've never been one to doubt his effort.
No he played for England last off season against Tonga. He then stayed in England until he was due back in January. No special allowances at all.Last offseason they let him go overseas then return to training later than everyone else. I’m pretty sure.
Unless it's changed again the rlpa rules are 7 weeks for players who have completed 4 or less preseasons and 9 weeks for 5 or more. It's also an RPLA thing players get 6 weeks off a year.
