You mighten want it but I'd take it in a heartbeat. I enjoyed watching my team play then on a regular basis instead of willing the season to end. Never in the bottom 4 and some of the best days of the footy when the on field stuff was the talk about WTs instead of the off field embarrassment we have become.

The greatest example of that boys club was when we entered the new season in 06 and our forward pack of young guns had been reading their own press all summer and sniffing each others farts thinking they were destined to be huge stars and see a tonne of success.
Round 1 they played the Dragons in a rematch of the prelim and done them again and confidence was high…until they faced a real forward pack in rd 2. The Doggies belted 15 shades of shit out of them - targeting our pigs.
That was basically the end of that lol..

That boys club surprisingly won a comp and then got too big for their boots and took 5 more years to play another finals game.
We don’t want that crap again, we want a consistent group of professional players who play to be successful.
Couldn’t give a shit if they like the club or not.

you’re right. The club has no idea what success looks like and our culture and standards for the most part has been rotten.

No use going back to 2005 nostalgia. We need staff that actually understand what success, standards and culture is needed in the modern game.
