Hmmm..seems Wests Tigers weren't so keen to see Kahu honour his contract…...as they made out....

Anyhow .............be interested to see how Wanka goes when he comes off the bench..........

Sometimes you justy have to let them go. not easy for everyone to be so far away from family.

Scott prince (His Wife namely) was another example.

It's like any profession, hey? You don't want to keep someone on the books who doesn't want to be there, no matter how much you invested in their training.

Toyota Cup is about producing players, not winning premierships. Tell me what is more likely to produce a player:
1\. Having a guy there for 1 year who doesn't want to be there, and will more than likely leave at the conclusion of the year.
2\. Having a guy there who will stay beyond 2010, if you let him.

The worst thing about this is more of them might do the same thing now.

I agree. It sets a bad prededent. I'd also like to know how active Brisbane were in all this.

So you mean they might be like NRL players and sign a contract and not go through with it ( Steve Turner's name rings a bell).

Be it the player or the club that starts the shopping, it happens all the time. Contracts are made to be broken and the clubs are as guilty as any player.

NYC preparing players for the future. Guess what, that is the future for a lot of these kids.

Read all about Jordan's decision to turn his back on the Tigers last year, he was on a scholarship with the Tigers at Keebra Park the same school that produced Benji.
However there were some outside influences that convinced him to reject the Tigers and go to Brisbane instead, family was a big factor I believe.
And when It comes to the Broncos player Kristian W I'm led to believe it's pronounced Wonkay!
