Josh Addo Carr ...Petition To Stay

Wests Tigers are the mugs of the NRL Wests Tigers send to Bellamy at Melbourne Storm match winners and potential winners like Korobeite and Joshus Add Carr (at vey low cost for Storm) and he sends he problem children like Matt Lodge to Wests Tigers. Guess who is laughing. Decisions like these plus the desperate financial plight the club has been in for years are the reason why the club continues to languish at the bottom of the NRL table. The problem continues to be with the WT management and coaches who continue to make these silly decisions.

I've avoided commenting much about players WT have let go. On this one I think they have made a mistake.

I think you will find the WT made him an offer which JAC rejected for the offer to move to Storm,,,his choice not ours….

If that is truly the case then bye-bye Addo-Carr. We don't want players that don't want to be here. But if we simply missed the bus or stuffed up the negotiations it was a mistake.

Addo-Carr rejected Wests Tigers offer for a number of reasons;

1\. The WT offer was much lower than what WT were offering. The offer was much lower because Wests Tigers have squandered their CAP money over the years leaving them with little or no money to buy a quality player. WT also have a noose around their neck because of their short sighted decision to play the back ended contract game with players such as Farah whom they signed for a long term contract. They only paid him small money in the early years and now have to pay big money in the final two years of his contract. Wests Tigers have only themselves to blame. Decisons like these have really come to back to bite the club.

2\. Addo-Carr would see Bellamy as a much better coach than Taylor.

3\. Addo-Carr could not help but be tempted by the chance of playing in this year's finals games with Melbourne.

Who could blame Addo-Carr for going to Melbourne? It is up to Wests Tigers to clean up their act and become a competitive professional club, which is a long way from where they are now.

Fair enough.
