If Aloia wants $700k and manly are willing to pay him that much then I would shake his hand and tell him to go for it. He had a good start but didn’t really go on with it to the end. He’s been pretty poor before last year and we put up with him. If he’s chasing the dollars and doesn’t want to show loyalty then on your bike son and good luck at manly.

Such a disparity to how fans feel about their club to how players view it. They can pledge their alleguance to a club like changing shirts - and they do. The modern game is about generating as much wealth out of it that you can. Just the way it is.

True. So the role of our leaders is to make WT shirt one that players don’t want to take off after they put it on. Winning would help. A bit like what the Rortsters have now.

Pascoe likes the term destination club. I only ever go to destinations for a short while.

He needs to be building more of a home than a destination.

I like Josh,however this is a tough gig to be involved in,if you want big money you have to earn it or show you can...

Trouble is...I will put it like this....

some players or most are worth $50...
elite are worth $100..

the rest are worth 50 cents but after a couple of reasonable games want to demand $50 or more..

You only get more if your consistent and competative at this level...bad recruiting and mismanagement is the downfall of a lot of clubs ...we have all seen this before...

He's just not a 600-700k prop. One decent season in your career doesn't get you that. Madge is offering him what he's worth, don't really see a point in negotiating to ludicrous amounts.

So if the dollars are correct he will go for similar money to what Taupau took for the same move, once you factor in the cap, inflation etc...

This is a tricky one but if we can't find someone of equal quality then we have to think long and hard before bidding him farewell.
