Hi Team

Got somw.indo back from the club today regarding jumpers.sppnsorship. We.havw been provided the 2026 pri ing for reference.

The average price of a 2026 player sponsorship package was $22,000 ex GST.
This included a number deliverables including:
  • Signage on Gameday
  • Corporate Hospitality Tickets
  • General Admission Tickets
  • Invites to Club Events such as awards nights and season launch
  • Signed Framed jersey
If we were able.to find enough interest, say 100 people at $250, how would we split the goods fairly? Some sort of raffle perhaps?

Anyway we probably need to gauge interest before working about the detail.

Before we start a poll to determine if it is worthwhile perhaps we should discuss it o this thread first.

I think the dollars will work out for 100 people.
Re the goodies, Probably 2 ways to do it, lottery/raffle OR have a small "committee", representing a NFP or some type of entity that is formed to actually execute this. I work in a different field with licensing and contracting, so I could be wrong, but
Contracting on as 100 individuals might not work unless the club does this as goodwill in return for 100 individual donations.
Happy to help work this out in the thread with no expectation.

For me, being able to make a financial contribution to the club is important and in the years I buy membership it is only to put my money in. If we did it in January I would weigh up the 250 here vs the 150/200 odd for 2 non ticket memberships. If this collection was at a different point in the year I'd probably find it easier.
 
There are 3400 forum members. At the moment there are around 40 members on line and 900! lurkers.
Turn the forum into a members only subscription site at 10 bucks a year. Will lose some members and gain some from the lurkers.Only need 2500 members to cover the cost.
Have a members draw for the jumper. WTF gets the signage. Partner with a Cambo charity and let them raffle off tickets etc.
Shame the Tigers management into giving us better club gossip.

Do you mean sponsoring the Jersey ie 17

Sponsorship for jerseys is ridiculous ......where I used to work for was a sleeve sponsor of the Cowboys back kn the early 2000s and they were 360 k
 
Alex Seyfarth is now sponsored ! Just noticed this as I was checking team list on WT app revised 3 hours ago.Bunty and Sukkar drop out of the squad, and Tristan Hope is the reserve.
Helluva an idea Jolls, well thought out , good to have this for the future for sure!! Cheers🍻

I have seen coopers on tap. Usually the 'Green' (Honestly I can't remember if that's the draught).

it's not every pub, maybe 1 in 5. but it is there on the taps.


What's interesting is the unpasturized deliveries. A parra Hotel had a whole giant tank of Carlton Draught. Now I can drink Carlton Draught and will prefer it to Tooheys, Reasches... But will reach for James Squire or Four Pines... But fresh Draught out of this tank, it was just a thing of Beauty.
