What is the story with Curtis sirro? I haven't seen a NYC game this year but I see his name on the scorer's list. Is he a big prospect?

He is good, he held his own late last year in the NYC when given his chance and he's only 18 at the moment and playing a leading role in the NYC this year. I suspect he will end up a ball playing lock as he continues to fill out as he is very tall like his father but still obviously growing at his age.

From the games I have seen live he is a very good prospect only behind Miller in the backs. As Willow mentioned he has some growing to do and is only young. In my opinion barring injuries he will make it, he has very good skills and is great at drawing in 2 defenders and offloading. He would be among the brightest prospects I have seen in a number of years.

I think he will end up as lock but I would still like to give him a run in the centres, as good tall centres with good ball skills are worth their weight in gold in the modern day NRL. Does anyone know if he played any junior football in the centres?

He's played a fair bit of centre I think, last time I saw him playing for Holy Cross against St Pats Dundas 2 years back was in the centres…stood out in that game in stature and ability
His dad reckons the younger bro (15s) is better than him at the same age

is a huge talent

i would play him at center in first grade next week

Let's just remain calm. He's a huge potential talent. He'd get blown away in first grade if he was picked next week.

Yeah great potential, seems tough enough and skillful enough to be close to first grade.

I reckon later in the year we will see him on the bench for NRL.

I think he is a MAJOR talent… Is a great runner of the ball... Good hands and a GREAT kicking game.
One of the kick throughs he done on Sat. or last game was SUPERB!! Sat up beautifully in the in goal, Straight into the hands of the Winger/Centre. It was a CRACKER!!
He won't be going anywhere...

He has amazing natural ability and a great football brain. Have been watching him since his debut against the Eels last year get better each week. It's no coincedence the NYC team have begun stringing results together with him and Jacob Miller at 7 and also with Polotini at 9 they are developing really useful combos.

He can kick too!

It would have to be quite a few kilos… He is a rake!!
I like the Centre Idea..
But as for Lock, I love a ball playing Lock...
But at this point I can't see him putting on that much...
Time will tell....

I think by the time he is 20 he will have naturally put on that much weight, in my opinion he has a ball playing lock role written all over him. I have been very impressed by him sonce he came into the 20's late last year. He slotted straight in and handle the jump in class straight away. Having said all that I do not think we will see him in 1st grade until the end of next year at the earliest.

Like others I first saw him playing last year I think it was Leichhardt late in the season and he was a standout playing with and against boys a few years older than him. He must have suffered a few injuries as he hasn't always played this year and I noticed his leg heavily strapped on the weekend. He is a talent in attack and kicks in general play as well. I can't see him getting near first grade for some years yet, why rush??

I have to say he played pretty well on the weekend in the NYC against penrith. He has alot of potential but the pressure is on him to perform, because even though he has a famous surname he may not play like his dad did.

I agree he & Miller had great games on sat night but lets not rush these two as they have something special, lets just sit back & watch these two come on in leaps & bounds. P.S i think young sirro will be a lock.

Compsure, Time, Discipline and Age are 4 things this guy has in his favour… I enjoyed ever second of watching him on Saturday night and look forward to seeing him grow and mature into a great Backrower like his dad...
