I agree … Until tedesco comes back Austin must play fullback . When tedesco is back I can't find a spot for Austin at all , maybe 18th man .

I think Austin's best games for us have been off the bench at dummy half during Origin time. I reckon he should be a bench utility next year and I'm hoping Farah spits the dummy and pisses off so we can have a Cherrington/Austin dummy half rotation and let Moses, Brooks and Tedesco run the show.

Hitchcox made one glaring error in an otherwise average/passable performance.

Austin would be a great replacement for Farah when he retires..
Until then he will have to stick to be a useful utility or centre next year. Hard to judge his performance based off the Roosters game. But yeah I agree with those who say he needs the ball in his hands. Not much you can do when Moses & Brooks looks the likely halves combo next year & Tedesco at fb..

Remainder of the season:
If Hitchcox gets another run, he should take priority over Rowe for FB spot.
