K. walters looks like the favorite now

Peter Ryan was a great defender but that means nothing when it comes to coaching. how many clubs has he been at ? If he was that good Bellamy would have hired him.

He was excellent as a defense coach in rugby
 
Rhino ihas been at the Cowboys for the past 2 Years. Previously to that, he was at the Broncos for 3 Years.

Wayne Bennett tried to get him at Newcastle this year, but he was still contracted to Nth Qld.
 
The cowboys defense is nothing to write home about, & he was punted from the donkeys. I have no problem joining the coaching staff but not as a defensive coach I would prefer someone who can analyse the game more.
 
Their defence is 100% better than it was though 2 seasons back

The best defensive coach going around was John Muggleton Have no idea who he is involved with
 
The Cowboys have had their best defensive year since entering the comp, after having one of their worst years prior to Rhino joining them?!
 
I think Henry & the cattle they have is more a result of their improvement but still their defense is hardly intimidating. Is there any conformation on who anyone will have on there staff. I thought Langer had been moved to a corporate role at the donkeys where he can concentrate on his business & I am sure I have seen it elsewhere that Mick Potter will be the Chooks toyota cup coach if unsuccessful.

id be happy with either coach k Walters or m potter. how about k Walters coach and m potter his assistant or visa versa.. both could bring a lot of ideas to the club

Come on Wests Tigers who is/are the coach/es? The fans have been kept i suspense long enough. I am surpeised that WT reported that 2013 memberships have been taken up at record rates.

We are paying one of these guys peanuts…..cheapest coach in the comp
Doubt we'd go for both when we skint

I wonder how long ago the board started thinking about moving Sheens on? I assume it would be difficult to contact possible coaches with the finals still being on?

and that leads to another question, When is an ideal time to replace the coach?
