Love Kayo - unfortunately had to pull the plug, live in NZ been using Nord VPN to access it.

Tried to log in last week when I hadn't touched it all off-season, and it's blocking all Nord servers now.

Can't even login to cancel my subscription!

NZ doesn't have anything remotely close, signed up to Sky Sports NOW - seems average as so far.

Try a new VPN - PIA (Private Internet Access) is a good one. Been using it for around 5 years.

Are you using that with Kayo? I read they've started blocking their servers too. Sounds like Kayo is going pretty hard with it.

No just used it for betting mostly while I was in the Philippines for work. Haha.
I didn't realise they could actually block VPN servers, but I suppose if they're a static IP with no redirection either then maybe. And obviously you're experiencing this.

Can you be sure you were definitely connected to your VPN? Using the Kayo website to watch or a Kayo app? You'll find the latter may not actually be using your VPN depending on your setup.

Found some posts in reddit regarding this issue. It seems some VPN providers are blocked while others are still fine. Apparently PIA is still ok to use, so maybe give that a try. Not sure if there's a free trial though. Maybe sign up short term to confirm it works first. But it definitley seems like a possibility to get around their blocking.

Yah, I stumbled across that reddit thread too! Further down the thread someone mentions PIA also getting blocked often.

I subscribed to Sky Sport NOW over here, hating it already.

I already emailed Kayo to cancel my sub cause I couldn't do it - wonder how they'd react if I decide to keep it if I went down the avenue of another VPN haha.

Ah damn. Haha yeah just try another, for sure. Try Mullvad, one of my mates who is right into these sorts of things highly recommended it to me (I'm still subscribed to PIA for now so haven't tried it yet). The website is nice, you can be more or less completely annonymous as you can pay for your subscripton with Bitcoin, and I hear the performance is also quite good.

I hadn't heard of it before he mentioned it, so maybe it's one under the radar that hasn't been blocked yet. You can pay month to month as well, so maybe try it short term and see if that one works.

Depends on the account that's set up - not sure if it applies to business. If it did, you would need access to manage the account, and in there you'd have a link that you could use to add it onto your plan/sign up via Telstra.

There is a way to get a 3 month subscription free.

Check out the reddit post below

https://www.reddit.com/r/nrl/comments/f3igzw/kayo_free_3_month_trial/?sort=new

Thank you, done and done. Had to make a new account, but all that means is a new email (and phone number). All good, used another email account and my boy's mobile.

I have it . But thinking of suspending it.

Depends what you watch really. Limited to their rights with ESPN et al

No NHL; Limited NFL; Limited NBA, (limited tennis)

If you're really into league then i suppose its worth it. If you just casually watch league its probably not worth it. This is what's on today:

![f05b3d49-7fbc-4097-865b-1f2218b154ba-image.png](/assets/uploads/files/1581664652894-f05b3d49-7fbc-4097-865b-1f2218b154ba-image.png)

Wow.
Good to know.

I'll stick with Foxtel.

It's the same as Foxtel but cheaper. As for the $25 per month I agree it's expensive but you can turn it off at the end of the season.

It may be expensive to some people but when you break it down its quite cheap$25 pm=$6.25 weekly
Cheaper than a packet of smokes
Cheaper than a schooner in most pubs
Cheper than going to games not getting ripped off with outrageous food prices and you can get legless at home with out the cost of a taxi or uber
Plus you can watch every game PRICELESS
and you get Yvonne Sampson plus the other lovelies thrown in and you can cancel at the end of the season and renew the next
The best you don't have to go Slimy Town to watch.

Or you can tell a mate you will pick him up from his house if he shouts 3 beers at the pub while you watch the footy for free
You then call the free Courtesy bus to pick you both up and it takes you to the pub
Take enough money to buy a beer for yourself

It's a good cheap night
You spend time with a mate watching footy while drinking beer and it costs you about $5.00

Now this is impressive. You sneaky bugger.

Some people who reside overseas would still like to engage with Australian content - Sports (Kayo), betting, tv shows, websites. Our regulations here block a lot of this stuff outside of Australia, so that kind of sucks, especially if you’re an Australian. A VPN is just a piece of software that allows you to circumvent this and access this content wherever you are.

Besides from the dogshit commentary and limited camera angles, the trial coverage on the NRL site wasn't too bad. At least it was free. Now most people will likely be resubbing to Kayo a month earlier than they would have.

Hey does any 1 know if there is a download feature on Kayo? Because I’m currently traveling and don’t have reception all the time so it would be amazing if I could download all the games each week when I have reception then watch them later when I don’t have reception?
