Keith Galloway Re-signing???

Does anyone know what is the situation with Keithy ? Can't remember where i read it last week that he rejected our 1st offer does anyone know anything ?
We are missing his size upfront for sure but i feel his been injury prone the last 2 years and wouldn't be playing his hard ball games in upping his offer so much , Thoughts?
ive been very proud at the way Buchanan and Ave saf…. (tricky surname  ) been carrying us forward with very little experience behind them and i don't need to mention Woods his a machine ...
But i feel Keithy has become injury prone and i would be very cautious at negotiations with him .

I almost had a heart attack. People were screaming at the start of the year and now you want to drop our starting prop? He was dominating before the injury and will dominate again. If we have Gallaway, Woods and Buch all firing than we would have to be up there with the best props around. (for any one team)

Hopefully the tigers re-sign him soon and he doesn't have to resign.

I just hope they don't pay "overs" to retain him. I like Galloway and would like him to stay on board for next season and beyond, but not if he's asking for $400k per year.

Def have to re-sign him. And with all these young props coming through it will hopefully lessen the load on our starting props leading to less wear & tear, etc

Very excited about the way our pack is developing.

I think he's a must but at the right price. His experience and performance warrant his services, his injury history though would affect his value $$$ wise. I just hope that with the first offer being rejected, that it wasn't due to a decreased or same value as the current deal. He deserves an upgrade I would think of say 10-15% more.

How many games has he missed in the last 4 years. I would say he's missed Atleast 25-30

Sign him to an incentive base on the number of games he plays

I am happy to pay standards for him, but if he rejects it then I am also happy to pay the same price for a prop just as good.

So that's a few less than I expected to be honest.

That's pretty bloody good LaT! 61/72 in 10, 11 and 12!! Got a bit unlucky this year. But 85% of games for a prop with such a workload ain't half bad.

Kieths problem is he misses games at inopportune times like start of the season and around Origin time. Gives the impression he is out for longer than he is.

Yep, and if we ignore this years freak injury which rules him out all season, in the past 3 full seasons he has played 61 of 77 possible club games.

Thats not bad. Certainly not enough to earn a rep as injury prone. A torn pec this year is just bad luck.

Beat me to it Happy. He has been good lately although 2013 will ruin those stats

I understand mate , it gets hard once the extra thumb starts becoming so prominent since you moved to Cairns

I hope he is re-signed by Wests Tigers. Penrith might be interested considering the way Gus talks the sauce up??
