Hi all,

Rumours over here that we are in talks with Keith Galloway? I can't see it myself but it is from some (usually) credible sources.

Can any of you guys shed any light please (or most likely quash it completely!)?

Wouldn't surprise me. They did it to Gibbs, they could do it to anyone.

Who needs props? That's what back rowers are for!

That will do me if they do

Gallaways importance to us has been shown with our win loss record with him and without him

If they let KG go , we should sack everyone in the office involved in the decision and that includes Humphrey's and MacDonnell

It would be madness if they let him go as his best footy is in front of him, then again they let Gibbs go who was playing well also.

In any case, I expect an article to pop up in the Telegraph in the next couple of days and the Mole/Rumour Mill on Twitter to "report" this now.

They are probably talking to him about season 2014 …..

He may want to head over there ....

In he has lots family in the uk

OMG! Not Keithy! Can't be true! 😱pen_mouth:

Why would we want to get rid of a prop? It's not like we have a surplus! :brick:

Spends most of the season in rehab, great when fit and firing but thats only a handful of games a year

Sad but true.

Everyone always says this but it's not true. The last few years he's played around 20 games per year. For a front rower that's not bad, they're expected to miss a few

It is spreading like crazy he has signed a 4 year deal but I cant see it too to be honest. he is;

a. too good

and

b. too young to come over here to a far poorer standard.

we do have a fair bit of coin in fairness and our chairman has promised us some massive signings but then what chairman doesnt.

By the way in case any of you are interested Peter Gentle is going great over here and really popular with the fans. To any outsiders looking in it may seem fairly unspectacular with us sitting in 6th but he has had a crippling injury list and in the midst of a complete squad overhaul due to the turd the last coach left. He has done marvels to get us where we are.

Good look to the tigers for the rest of the season.

Peter Gentle is a very able coach Hull. Do you think you could con him into letting Gareth hang around for another two years?

I hope this is not true. We have seen how important to the team Keith is with the results when he was injured.
I can't see why he would be let go by the club.

ha ha not sure on that one. It is almost fever pitch already here at the thought of him joining. One of our clubs bigest ever signings.

However, interestingly it is also being bandied around of a possible link up with us and you. You might not be as chuffed about that as we are but it would certainly see you getting Tom Briscoe as a result. He has made it clear he wants to try himself in the NRL asap. Could be a star over there.

Briscoe is certainly no slouch, I'd welcome him in Tigers colours. Only issue is we have a million outside backs as it is.

Maybe we're freeing up cap space to sign a superstar forward like Adam Blair… oh wait :unamused:
