It was brought up before that we were looking at him, i have just read on the BBC sports page that he will return to the NRL at seasons end. It did not mention any team that he was going to, but Mayer did say they were looking at the super leaque for players , and to watch this space.

pretty sure he's planning to move back Newcastle way. Not that that means a huge deal but you would think the Knights could use him.

He's a backrower - don't really need him.

Thought he was a centre Alex or have they converted him in the ESL

Didn't have a big wrap on him anyway ,wasn't if every time we played Newcastle I thought "Bugger ,Lulias playing"

Are you serious or joking?

Course we need more, we have like none. Fults, sue that's about it who are proven 2nd rowers in first grade.

he is a centre with good pace, not sure where or what he is doing, just that Mayer did say we would sign more players from the super league.

Also he was playing at Bradford Mick Potters old club - not that I think we want him just saying. Also I don't think we want any more average backrowers or average centres - if we were to get a backrower it would have to be a top class one as for next year we have

Fulton
Blair
Sue
Thompson
Murdoch Masiala
Santi
Lovett
Spence
Sironen
Anasta

no disrespect, but none of the above other than sue even look like they could break the line, and the boys from the u20s still have a way to go.

apart from sue i can see why we need a quality back rower, there would be state cup teams with a better back row that is a ordinary group of players to choose from, definite weak link.

Hence why we don't need depth signings, we need a top class back rower. Otherwise we're just signing more bodenes and pettybourne. Let's get a hindmarsh instead, or maybe not quite as good. But someone of his calibre is worth 5 Pettybournes to us.

Him, Mark Tafua & Marvin Filipo to sign with a local Hunter comp (Kurri Kurri, Singleton, etc) and work in the mines.

Have to disagree.

Sironen and BMM consistantly look like breaking the line. And even Thompson who i dont rate can look dangerous.

So including Sue thats four. Gavet and Reddy are the backrow smoky's.

Im happy to save money and back the talent within regarding our backrow because i believe in a few of those guys
