People get wound up over the weirdest things. A bit like Paul Momorovski. No club has fought hard to keep him and he has bounced around several clubs. Surely this is an indicator of their value. Fringe players and not worth spending elite money on, whatever the price.

This guy is the same, bounced around, Melbourne let him go and not a whisper. As soon as we do, it's big news. Everyone has a price and maybe his value to us is $350. At Manly it may be more. Good luck to him.

And before anyone says how well he played in the Rnd 1 Storm game last week....I'd like to see that for multiple games and multiple seasons before panicking that we lost a great player.
 
Can't imagine they'll make a play for Garner now as well - something went cold there obviously and they moved on to pinch Kelma. Really hope we can grab Nanai to make up for the loss.
If we could get him and Blore returns fit to play we should be covered on the edge in 2023.

If the reported difference is correct with the Manly offer, obviously the club has made the decision it can do better. Since we don't have all the information and we have according to that article yesterday lots of $, you have to believe something is in the works.

When were they ever going to make a play for him? It’s been an unfounded rumour that hasn’t gone away for 2 years. There’s never been weight to it.

Source? They're offloading Marty Taupau at the end of the year who's on 800k so you'd have to think that would free up a fair bit of money. Dylan Walker too.

They have large issues based on the kids they have retained.
It's why they are 3 players (with potentially 1 coming our way) below the threshold for this year.
Some more players have to move for next season.

I have the ability to father 57 children, but I didn't, either.
Kelma runs hard, no doubt.
But he is poor in D, and has the offload ability of a statue.
But he does run hard.
Don't you love these journo's ? . . . 2 players leave and she has to tie her hands behind her back and put in a gag to stop herself declaring it an "Exodus !"
Or maybe that's a new word to her.

He literally offloaded for a try on the weekend, runs hard good lines and is far better than the alternatives we have. You know, the same stupid point that brooks fanboys use to defend his incompetence.

Gee, sorry Sparci. I wasn't aware that your dog got run over twice this morning.
I saw maybe 4 chances for an offload in promising situations, and that stuck in my mind.
It will never happen again.
