I sort of feel sorry for this guy. Afaik he is the incumbent NZ fullback and hardly ever puts his foot wrong yet he has been ousted for the warriors 17.

Why can't the dogs or roosters (if they want someone at wing or centre) go for him who would be hell of a lot cheaper than tedesco?

Ignore this thread if he has signed somewhere else.

I think Locke is injured at the moment hence why he's kind of the forgotten fullback

Otherwise dogs would've tried to sign him this year, because Sam perrett is not a first grade fullback. He is a solid, consistent winger though

Dogs tried to sign him last year and the Warriors wouldn't release him to go. No idea why since they had signed Tomkins? He is injured at the moment though. So that's why he's not even in their squad.

That's not a good resume as far as I'm concerned , he is the sort of player that at best is a bits part player at a club Good in NSW Cup and that's about it

He's a 100% player. He's the sort of guy who would never let you down and at times even create something out of nowhere.

Sorry Prmz , but if Locke is that good a player why did they sign Tomkins ??

Locke's better position is fullback and there was no way they'd play Tomkins at wing

They could play Tomkins at 6 possibly , but if that was the plan , you'd think they would be doing that already and play another it fullback

Is the Fish still at the Warriors ??

The Warriors are in a better position than all of us to make a call on this and it appears they have

Not all recruitment decisions are the best and in a competition like the NRL where good 1,6,7,9 are scarce we gotta make sure we pounce when another club makes a bad decision.

Not all recruitment decisions are the best and in a competition like the NRL where good 1,6,7,9 are scarce we gotta make sure we pounce when another club makes a bad decision.

Taupau was their fifth best prop and they just signed arguably the best prop in the game in Fifita

And I'm not disagreeing with you , I wouldn't have signed Tomkins either as a fullback I can name many forwards from England that have been top class , but apart from Gary Schofield , Johnathan Davies and Andy Currier to a degree many backs have been OK but nothing special

Ye but my point is clubs do make mistakes and behind fisiahi and Tomkins or even Manu on the wing- Locke would come at a great price if any club needs him.

He'd be my first option , blokes like Nofoaluma and Simona are doing a good job in their current positions

Teddy has proven one thing , if your are good enough you are old enough

ftb … got in before me. the blackpearl was a champion player and the tigers would have won the g/f in '88 except for that grub and cheap shot artist terry lamb. other poms, dave bolton wasn't too shabby either
