Anyone know the details of his contract? I saw today that fisiiahi got the right wing spot ahead of both inu and locke. He could be an option for the right wing spot if we have the cash maybe?

Lets develop Tagive some more instead and try and pick up another prop We almost had the situation this week with no Gibbs or Payten that we went in with 1 specialist prop depending on selections . It is a position we have struggled with for last few seasons . Yes I know we have Woods and Shirnack coming through but you would not at this stage probably want them as starting props doing 60 minutes a game , maybe few months down the track yes have them with that workload
 
Yeh I know, I've always been a huge fan of mitch brown and latu but sheens seems to put utai in over them (not hating on utai, just think brown deserves the spot) so I was thinking if we got a winger of locke's caliber that would force sheens to put him in rather than having utai. I also considered his goal kicking could be a major positive, benji's kicking is confusing, when he's kicking well he plays extremely well but when he isn't kicking well other aspects of his game suffer. Would eliminating his goal kicking duties all together help or hinder his week in week out performance?
 
Have too many quality outside backs going to waste already, no point in signing on another who is just going to ride the pine or sit in NSW Cup.
 
his contract expires this year but the club have an option to extend. either way id keep away from him he is more of a FB than anything else so no need
 
Locke isn't a very good winger, he is however a pretty decent fullback. Unfortunately for him the warriors have hohia and now fishiani who looks a brilliant prospect.

He would be better off looking elsewhere, but he'll never be a great winger.
 
Wow, what a horrible suggestion.
Locke is a terrible winger, decent fullback but nothing special.
He's too small & I'm struggling to find where he would fit into the team.
Daniela is a small winger and I'd say he is way better a player then Locke.
No thanks.
 
Decent FB…wouldnt mind having him...
BUT.. as posted before we have heaps of depth in the backs...
... Daniela, Brown, Ryan, Latu, Utai...and so forth...
would be wasted money atm...
 
I think hes actually similar to Kristian Inu
did a few freakish things in his debut year - but has done nothing amazing since
 
Didn't you see the try he scored against the Roosters in the wet across in NZ. It was the one where he got smashed into the posts - very gutsy and pretty freakish (i think it was 100m with 1minute to go).

I would have him over most of our wingers. Maybe a victim of the trend to go with big wingers who can make yards from dummy half. There will be plenty of interest in him i reckon.

I'd have him over Ryan and Daniela, not sure about Brown. Definitely have him over Latu and Tagive.
 
I bet you he will not play, he is a waste of money because last time sheens signed a player he ended up playing in NSW cup every week and then went on to playing in the starting side at the North Queensland Cowboys. So maybe before we sign players let's guarentee them that they will play.

If you're referring to Arana Taumata, he left Nth QLD end of last season to go to Penriff and can't get a sniff in their starting side, so Sheens isn't the only one who won't give him a start.
