I agree 100% but api isn’t getting any younger , and to be honest we need him more than NSW
 
NSW have plenty of Klemmer style front rowers already.

Stefano brings something different with his impact, but I think he needs to be more consistent. If he plays like he did against Penrith every week he should be in the frame.

Pole has been underrated IMO and I think this year he's been every bit as good as Stefano.

I hope both and as many as possible get picked to play or even be in the training squad, playing up a level helps players get better. I bet if Api gets picked he will play even better for us after origin.

Yeah that’s a good call, Pole has been going great and I would love to see him get called up for the training squad like stef a couple of years back.

Pole is eligible for both Australia and NZ, just not Origin because he's not from either state.

All the other names previously mentioned in this thread are eligible for NSW except Leota and Fonua-Blake who are both Kiwi.

Do you know if he has chosen a country to rep yet?
If not, which one do you reckon he’ll go with, Oz or NZ?
 
I didn’t think you had to be from NSW or QLD to play origin. I’m sure plenty of origin players were from other states or countries. I thought the rule was to do with playing junior football in a particular state before a certain age, not where you were born.

The rules are different for each state, for NSW you need to have played your first footy game in this great state of NSW.
For Qld you can play from in where on the planet.
 
Klemmer won't play origin anytime soon given his feud with Freddy. I think Jurbo gets back in time for Origin 1, but Stefano's an outside shout pending any other injuries along with guys like McLean, De Belin and Jacob Saifiti. Martin likely to miss the first game as well by the sounds of things.
