Just thought I'd give everyone a quick reminder that we are 2nd game up this morning at 10.25am (9.25am for my Qld brethren )

Got a good feeling about this one , get on us we are going to win this one

The club really needs to focus on how they bring Moses along. It's quite obvious his body isn't up to it yet - get him on the George Rose diet asap.

Size might not be the answer

We need to work out very quickly whether Mitchell is going to survive , we have extremely limited options for the 6 jersey in 2015

I noticed him do it in the second game yesterday and was surprised he played on. He grabbed his upper arm, hopefully not a pectoral muscle tear!

He did some good things. Robbie now needs to get out of the way a little and let Austin and Tedesco do their thing. We need someone running off the big guys, which was lacking yesterday I believe.

It's a pretty simple equation for mine. Play Koroibete and Tedesco on the wings. Swing the backline to one wing to stretch then back to the other to take advantage of the overlap with speed.

We are going to have to probably settle for secong in the group with a win

Sharks are destroying Titans 20-4 with a couple of minutes left

Fair dinkum it was only 9's but our tackling technique has to improve sharply. Unfortunately it has been a cancer thru the team for years now.

The shirt grabbing is endemic it appears.
I'd rather let a few tries in now and again with a decent low tackle than watch teams/average players swipe away tiger defenders all day after pathetic grab attempts. It is a sheer lack of mongrel and it continues. 2010 we defended like pigs on a mission and a big reason we went well. Yes folkes etc but how hard to have a first grade team grow a set and tackle like their life is on the line!?

I know it was only 9s but you can tell Newcastle have very little respect for us. And nor should they. You can just tell in their eyes and the way they play they know when things get tough the Tigers won't stand up. Teams like Manly, Canterbury, Easts and Souths also have that feel about them when they talk about us and play against us.

I remember Brian Smith of all coaches taunting us in the media, saying he knew exactly how to beat the Tigers. Its humiliating when your club lacks repect, but I don't think we have really earnt it over the years. By and large we are considered soft and that hurts.

This! What to do? Has been the case for so long. Minus Benji and a more structured attack which might take years to build (and a mongrel set of pigs) and things might change. But we are considered easy beats. Now fav's to win the wooden spoon too …

Hate to have to agree but you're on the money.
Hopefully, given the chance, blokes like Paterson and Gavet won't take a soft approach.
The guy everyone has forgotten about who WON'T take a backward step is young Nathan Brown.
Unfortunately injured but can't wait for him to get another crack in the top grade.
I knows he's aggro and sometimes over the top and has already been told to tone it down by the coaches- but that's what we need!
Until he gets a bit of experience he will give the odd dopey penalty away but I'll take that for the starch he'll add up the middle.
Bring it on Browny!

I think (& hope) blokes like Sue & Tapau can do the same.
