Koro Gone----now Official

I can't believe we let this bloke go to the Melb storm.

We must have some real good backs at the club and some unbelievable speed if we can't find room for this bloke.

Although his defense is suspect at times…there's not many blokes who can score the tries he does and he's only what 21,22 years old...surely his best years are still in front of him.

I don't know who made the decision on him but I think everyone at the club including Potter deserves a kick up the ARSSSEE.

I have never been critical of Potter to date...I even supported him last year during that really tough period....but he must have a real rabbit in his hat if he could let Koro go.

The last 4-5 games we have played has been...let be honest.....CRAP. We have a 5/8 who's past it but is getting picked week in week out. We are expecting our 20 year old 1/2back to win us games when he is still finding his feet and then we have the broken downers...lawrence, lulua, moltezen etc who have no speed, make no line breaks, are injury prone.

This must be some kind of joke.

I keep looking at the calender but its not April 1.

I hope Koro scores 3 tries against us when we play Melb...just to show this mob what a big mistake has been made here.

And as for our next game against Canberra....God help us if we can't win that one....might as well call it a season.

What do you expect from Potter? Marika is the leading try scorer in NSW Cup. Potter is anything but a good coach. First BMM then Marika and Brown will be next.
All better players than Potter's favourites.
We have won 2 of our last 6 games and that was against the bottom 2 teams….Sure why not lets give Potter another 2 years.

Awwwww diddums. The position played by Koroibete is the same as Pat Richards. Who is the leading individual point scorer in the NRL so far this season?? I know who I would pick. Koroibete was not going to get a run with Richards there and deserved a run somewhere. Sorry to see him go, good luck to him.

You Korobete defenders are ridiculous in the fashion you downplay his deficiencies.

"defense is suspect at times.." Are you joking?
**The guy is as bad a defender as I have ever seen take the park in first grade**, he was having 2-3 tries scored on him PER GAME and it was obvious opposition coaches had figured that out.

He had also been well and trully worked out in attack as well. After his brilliant debut the year before he had realistically done bugger all since.

Why?…. because he's a fast runner, not a first grade footballer.

He's one of those players (and they are a dime a dozen) that are too good for reserves and not good enough for 1st grade.

Not sorry he's gone at all.

In a few years time he's going to be "whatever happened to ..... Geez he was fast!"

who deserves to be dropped for ANY of them?

What a dopey comment in this context; "We have won 2 of our last 6 games" to quote Irvine. Please explain how playing Koroibete in the other four games (that we lost) would have changed those results.

And what happens when Richards gets injured or retires in 2 years…....I know we won't bother playing a winger there, we will just leave it as an open corridor for opposition sides to score all their points.....koro still has 8-10 years of footy in him...look at some of the great wingers of the past.....they all made defensive mistakes at some points of their career but most players don't reach their peak until their 26-28....can't believe we made such a premature call on him.....I'm gonna love to see who else we have at the club in the lower grades who's better.

Knowing potter he may play corey patterson on the wing when needed.

what happens when farah retires in 4 years?
even worse, what's gonna happen when brooks retires in 15 years?

Mate! you never miss an opportunity to put Potter down.

Your opinion is taken on board as are all opinions but…

BMM will never be any good, can't hang onto the ball and no dedication.
Koro - and I'll say it again can never score enough tries to make up for the ones he lets in.
Couldn't tackle a wet paper bag because he can't read the play in defence.
AND Brown is not going anywhere!

Some people only see half the game

The half that has the ball, runs fast - throws passes and scores tries

Yeh Ok, so we stretch the cap thin in order to keep a fast but otherwise questionable winger in reserves. I don't think Koroibete would be very interested in that.

I think you'll find Koro wasn't prepared to wait 2 years for a chance, thats the problem.

He isn't in our top 17 nor should he be. It would be nice to have NSW cup full of guns but in reality thats not possible. We are not man u and this isn't the EPL.

Shame, will miss seeing him carve it up down the sideline but we can't keep them all. Another reason the NRL needs to look after clubs who bring through their own juniors or clubs will just continue to poach once they start living up to their potential.

I am a little suspect as to who they plan on using as back up wingers, Rowe, Hoeter, Sila, Moltzen?Or whether they will push Simona to wing if there's an injury and play Lulia/Thompson or a roughie like Paterson in the centres.

I heavily suspect the club would've wanted him to stay on for when Richards leaves or injuries hit, but salary cap restraints have caused us to cut our losses and sign another youngster in Sila who will cost half as much but with similar potential.

Best of luck to him.

Yep , when many on here hear the commentators say that defence wins premiership they need to pay attention

Sure you need to be able to score some points , but if you can keep the opposition under 14 points a game you will win a hell of a lot of footy games

Well we all have different opinions on this…...I suppose we will have a better idea of whether it was the right call 1-2-3-4 years from now.

Lets hope it does not turn out to be another Fifita for us.

funny that as soon as LOTE left the club we have lost our two Fijian wingers.

Fijians are IMO very very good in attack but they are pathetic at defending… So Tbh I really don't give a crap..
