Koroibete

So Royce said on Saturday's State Cup game that Koro was getting scans at that point in time. It's Monday afternoon and no update. That either means further scans or they are deciding which path to choose going forward. Either way I fear the outcome isn't great. Just hope the doc's initial opinion was simply worst case and not so much the likely scenario.

Well consdiering he's our best back we need him out there ASAP! but we also need him to be fit, no use gettig injured again. If he needs a week or two off ok but without him our backline is fairly useless (which makes the fact we didn't use him in a single backline play against aprra all the more daft!!)

He's the only player in our team that can be relied upon to regularly break the line.

Nofo to replace him for a week or two. Mr T needs more time to adjust to wingplay at NRL level. He's been a prop, second row, centre and now a winger over the past few seasons. At least Nofo has always been a back and is better positioning wise.

Or it could mean that it's all in your imagination. You took the red pill schmuck and now you live a life that lacks meaning.

Seriously what's the point of conjecture lol.

I heard a similar rumor from a bloke who read it of a site "in the know"

Will be missed, has been in my top 3 players each games. He needs to sort it out correctly, and come back strong, even if it is 1 - 2 weeks. Give him some kava, he'll be right.

His out until round 8 off wests tigers site.

Wests Tigers can now provide an injury update on winger Marika Koroibete.

Marika (pictured) suffered a left foot injury in the win over Parramatta at Leichhardt Oval last Friday night.

Results of scans have eliminated any need for surgery and the injury will be managed by a period of rest followed by physio and rehab work.

At this stage, Marika is expected to return to the field in round 8 against the Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium.

That's just about the best news we could've hoped for. Now given Ellis went through a similar injury he could've been looking at triple that time easily. 5 weeks whilst not ideal, I will take it. Could've been a lot worse.

3 props and 2 wingers… Do injuries compile like this for any other club?!

That question may open a can of worms.

Let me open the can - some serious questions need to be asked about our strength and conditioning/medical staff.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

OK…....34 blokes.....all scarey physical specimens, hurling their bodies at eachother at full tilt for 80 mins a week, and train at roughly 70 percent 5 times a week.

The collisions are like a car accident.

But its the doctors fault peeps are getting injured..

Conspiracy theory number 14,243.78.

Mythbusters anyone??

So it is just bad luck? Is it just a coincidence that we continually have the most players injured of any NRL side?

In the last four years have we ever played with our first 17 fully fit? Everyone is always out 'indefinitely'.

Is it any surprise that Melbourne, the most professional side in the competition, have had a very good run with injuries over the last few seasons? Compare their injury record to ours over the last five years, then do the math.
