Kyle Lovett-will we finally see him in 1st grade next year?

The answer to the OP is that yes Lovett is now way down the pecking order for first grade. He is merely a solid player with a few leadership skills. He can't break the line, rarely offloads and doesn't make huge metres in attack.

While similar to Santi, Lovett doesn't have his workrate or desperation. He didn't stand out at all last season in NSW Cup.

Lodge is the mongrel we've been looking for, and thankfully now have! 3 times the player of Brown or Lovett.

Shame though, I too had high hopes for KLovett….
Hope he steps up and becomes the player he has the potential to be.

I wish some of your young players had the mongrel of Nathan Brown.

I see little of the lower grades, and I gather Brown is lowly rated these days, but I was surprised he didn't get a run this year. As you say, has plenty of mongrel and enthusiasm and could have been great in short bursts.

i think a lot of people on this forum are seeing the glass 1/2 full rather than 1/2 empty in regards to quite a few players. Brown and Lovett are very average NSW cup players neither will make NRL standard , Santi is above them two but well below NRL standard, i suggest u take the black and gold coloured glasses off and see them as they are very average.
