I'm with Ron. My mail still tells me we are gona see someone new in this team tonight? Not prepared to drop any coin on this one. Too much gossip!!!

Did anyone see which back-up players went up with the team? Does anyone know if BRET and Wests are as programmed today?

Hope Andrew doesn't mind you dropping his name on here ron.

why would he? its not like i was in a secret meeting with him in the bat cave, i made a call asked him about ayshford he said no chance, and did the same yesterday about ellis, he said he will be on the plane to townsville and was more likely to play then not

That's fine ron. You're the first person to really name their source that's all.

sorry if it breaks a rule but to me this info isnt really a huge deal its only details on whether a player is 100% fit and able to play. i wouldnt publicaly name a source in relation to signings or players being released and such

No breach of rules with what you have done at all ron. Credit to you for naming your souce on this one as there has been too much speculation on it IMO.

I take my hat off to you Ron. That is my mail from the coaching staff as well, and was as early as Monday. Wests Tigers have a reputation of playing blokes who are injured and pushing the injury issue to the nth degree.

Weststigersforum.com has been able to confirm that Blake Ayshford will indeed play in tonight's game against the North Queensland Cowboys. Further to this, Gareth Ellis is also expected to play.
The club initially feared that Ayshford would be out for several weeks, however a review of his injury changed that outlook.

… I believe .. i predicted this... thank you...

I hope hes actually fit because Tonga will run rings around him by the way he has been playing lately

I spoke with Ayshford this week. He said he was really hoping to line up against Tonga and own him again like he did last year.

guess we will see at 7.30, they have put it on the front page of the forum so guess it must be true….....

Fingers crossed he plays and is fit to do so. However if he doesn't time for his replacement to really step up.

Than again shutting down Tonga is all about shutting down Johnny boy anyway

well andrew leeds is no doctor - so how would he REALLY know.

well i dont know mate, maybe because hes around the team a little bit?

no, i know what you mean Ron, its a great souce and all, but i just dont know Ron how much expertize he has in this matter. Andrew is on a good thing, but sometimes it must be hard to tell, the human body is a miracle on its own let alone the brain.

if blake isnt 100% he shouldnt play especially up there. to play him at this point seems irresponsible, considering we was struggling to walk/jog up unti wednesday.

i hope he is 100% but i honestly dont believe he will be

CT doesn't let the truth get in the way of how well he knows the players ron.

The whole point was that the injury responded to treatment much better than expected. As of Monday the coaching staff obviously thought the injury would keep him out for longer than it now seems it will.

Sheesh cant people read.

BTW I have no knowledge of whether he will play. If Blake isnt going to play then the club obviously has a tactical reason for saying that he will. I respect that. We should exploit all advantages. I dont know why any supporter would come on here and contradict it.

i'm loving this!

in one corner - Ron Burgandy! With his vast array of indisputable sources from deep within the corridors of Camp Concord, he isn't afraid to NAME and SHAME because he knows he's right! But will that be his undoing?

in the other corner - Discussion Bot! A quiet achiever who doesn't like to weigh into a fight unless he knows he can go for the killing punch. With a bit a reputation of being on the money, has he finally overplayed his hand?

and in the final corner - Crouching Tiger! Squad socialite extraordinaire! Crouching boasts knowing every player on a personal level, often pulling out some killer shots from his special and unique relationship with the top 25\. Will this fight see CT march on for another 5 years, or will Todd Carney step in to stop him?

i hope im wrong and ayshford is 100% fit, because we are better for it if hes there but only at 100% if he goes out after 15 minutes its a total waste, and if anyone seen him try to train during the week he would be a 1% chance of playing.

as of yesterday morning he was not playing and ellis was 80/20, he might of had some of that treatment daniel mortimer had that gives you god like healing ability
