Laurie the Panther takes swipe at Sheens

Gee we might have to wate for Newtown vs St Marys for this big match up lol

Nice one…..was thinkin along the same lines.

What a mug.....dont talk big until you can back it up......what we have here is a bloke who is barely a first grader, if at all, threatening to monster a bloke who has been there and done it all - at club level, finals series, state and international levels.

Mason would own him.

Daine Laurie talks a much better game than he plays. Bottom line was he was not NRL standard in 2009 except for maybe 10 minutes against Parra. Actually from what I hear he was hardl up to reserve grade standard. Can't blame Sheens for this one.

Yep… Couldn't agree more...

I predict more of the same this year for him…..discipline issues, not being able to hold down a FG spot, appalling defense and no real understanding of the game etc. etc. etc. blah blah blah

glad he is defending for someone else

Uh, you do realise Gallant asked for a release, right?

Can't blame Sheens that Gallant is soft. He saw there was competition for spots and he copped out and went to some place that had none.

Gallant soft? Yeah right mate. Once again you show you have no idea. Gallant's contract wasn't worth much and the Cowboys offered him alot more and he believed that the Cowboys would give him more of a chance to play firstgrade so that's why he asked for a release. I don't blame him.

His argument. Gallant left the Club for an easier first grade spot.
Yours. He left for money.

Why does he deadset have no idea? You're both right. Don't act so holy.

 So funny … I wonder how long Laurie's new attitude will last out this way ... maybe as long as hin being grateful to WT for giving him the time and opportunity to get right last year .... 😕

any player can talk it up in the media.
its on field actions that count.
could this become a good old fashion contest like we saw with Paul Harragon and Mark 'spud' Carroll or will it just be handbags and teasing at 10 paces. 😢

So I say Gallant left this club to go to one where he wouldn't have any competition, and I have no idea.

Yet in trying to defend him, you say the same thing about why he left?

Yep..I've got no idea.

I think the point is stsm…just because Gallant went to North Queensland doesn't mean he's soft.....

Which if you would drop your obvious dislike of him.....you might understand....it's not that hard......

He saw competition for spots and didn't like it. Maybe soft was a poor choice of words, but he had a contract, signed the contract and when he recieved a better offer, chose to break that contract.

My point is simple. Anybody blaming the club for him going is a fool. And anybody who thinks he should've been one of our highest paid players is an even bigger fool.

Good luck to Daine hope he continues to follow his dreams and does his mob proud
