What does it mean?
Has Sheens finally given Benji the flick?
If so why has it takes so long? and is it a good idea at this crucial point of the season?
Have i asked too many questions?

#1 Benji must have relinquished it
#2 Doubt it was Sheens
#3 Dont know. Probably not…can only serve to harm his confidence
#4 Yes far too many.lol.

I really dont think Rowdy is the answer either, I would stick with Benji, he must come good sooner or latter

Didn't supercoach say this last year when Benji started to play half back?

What year was it that Dean Collis kicked them from all over the park at Blue Tongue at Gosford, oh sorry he's playing for the Sharks now and scored 2 meat pies against us.

Lawrence didn't look very fluid kicking out there either, his action didn't look that great to me, and Marshall looked ordinary again in striking the ball so i don't know what other options Sheens has at his disposal to be honest. Sean Meaney would have been ideal tonight given McKinnon was injured, but Meaney is also sitting on the sidelines. Sheens will have to persevere with either Benji or Lawrence at this stage.

Having a look at Lawrence's second kick, it would seem he still has a long way to go with his goal kicking as well. I think we're now getting to the stage where goal kicking is a crisis. Against the Cowboys, 1/6, he had have kicked just 2 more we would've won that game comfortably, Manly, 2/5, Marshall killed off any momentum we had in that match 30-22 with 20 left could've made for an interesting finish, and then tonight, 1/3, 2 terrible misses from the sideline, if we had of had a slightly bigger lead, we may not of had to play so conservative in that last 10.

That was 07 v Storm from memory. We have to find someone who can do it with decent acuracy soon or it will hurt us.

you cant keep them all and he's been going like a busted in the team running last, sure he scored two tonight but even Fitzy scored tries!

Dont care who kicks but Benji should not be, as for coming good eventually, you are kidding, he's striking them awful and has been all year.

Benji gave it up…

I think after he copped plenty in the warm up....then missing 2 in the game he'd had enough...

Lawrence is not the answer...struck the miss OK but it was waaaaaay off target

Lawrence didn't look confident kicking but he wouldn't have been prepared for it at all. He reckons he can kick, so I'd give him another go next week after a full week practicing.

Man this place is a joke at times, amateur hour central

Someone forgot to get a goalkicker, that'd be like beadman arriving at Randwick without his whip - 26 weeks straight!

not like you not to be happy Ink!!!

Only a fool would be happy with the goalkicking situation as it stands.
I see the players took it out of the coaches hands…LOL
Basil......BASIL!

Lawrence has an interesting style. He basically walks into the ball then takes a quicker step at the end before hitting it. Did anyone notice when he took that one from the sideline at 24-16, not one Sharks player was in the in goal area and they were never told to move back there by either referee.

Sean Meaney should come into the side on one wing next week pushing Ryan into the centres.

Obviously permitting he is injury free.

1\. McKinnon
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Meaney

I don't think that benji should be kicking although I think he may come good at some point.

I think Benji has enough to worry about.

It's staggering that we haven't sorted something out over the season.

We're about to go into the finals (hopefully) with two goalkickers, one at 60 odd percent and another who has kicked for goal 1/2 a dozen times.

Not too flash.

Lawrence has been practicing for what, two weeks maximum?

Geez, give him a chance. We sure gave Benji one…
