any1 else watchin this show on fox probably one of the best show on league i have watched. Forgot how good wayne pearce actually was he was sensational in the kangaroo tour of 82

it'll be on again cunno - dont worry - not a bad show - for us wests magpies supporters - not even a boo hoo - but for balmain supporters total opulence. worth watching. my favourite part was les boyd - the thuggery - ultimately rubbed out of the game even but juxtaposedly picked to play for the kangaroos and rip england apart. What does that tell you about the politics of the NRL or ARL whatever they were called in that time. Top it off with greg hartley as a referee. The 80's were turbulent to say the least. And Ray Warren was quoted by Artie Beetson as saying that state of origin football will never catch on.

I remember when they showed this a few years ago, I was waiting for them to show it again! And finally they did, I made sure I IQ'd it.
I thought their origin and international coverage in the show was the best. Whenever ch 9 show Origin stuff, its just the same highlights and its not very in depth like it is on this.
Certainly for someone like me who was only born in 1989, it made me understand more about that era.

i loved the 90's but then it turned bad when those greedy superleague idiots ruined it. im still bitter about it, and i hate the broncos

I also saw the show and it was very good and really focused on the kangeroo tours and the grand finals through the 80s. Warren Smith was the commentator and was most enjoyable
