Leichhardt Oval news

10 million for the ground
40 million for the swimming pool next door

If that's all the funding the ground is getting it's a bit of a joke for us, unless funding will come from federal government as well?

Good evening all - first time posting here and apologies if this is not the correct thread - would appreciate some advice: my family and me (tigers tragics) heading to Leichardt for the titans game in 2 weeks - we are from QLD, driving south and will be staying in the city for a few days….. what’s the best advice to get our family of 5 to the game? Drive and park? Public transport? Uber/taxi? Would prefer to drive and park but I’m assuming parking is not ideal for a sold out game? Cheers all 👍

I always drive down. If you get there early enough, you'll find street parking. Just be aware that it's always a long time to get out after the game. We always wait for the players to come out, grab some photos and autographs, then, by the time we get to the car, the traffic has dispersed.
Have a great time!!

Least amount of hassle is to jump on the light rail and get off at Lilyfield or Leichhardt North and stroll down by foot. Much easier to leave the ground as well and you dont have to worry about traffic or ubers etc.

Depends where your hotel is of course as you may not be near a light rail station.

Can't see it being much of a grandstand at the north end after the two female dressing rooms are done there won't be much left... However it is what it is and it'll be better than nuffing... They'll be able to charge $130 to sit by the ingoal soon... $ Ca. Ching $
