Mate I go to every game. But to claim It is anything but a relic is ridiculous. Just because a couple of TV commentators love it because they have a vested interest in TV doesn’t make it a good ground. It’s a myth and fake just like every other TV set is. We would have to be the dumbest supporter base ever. Cowboys have a modern Stadium, So do Broncos and now Parramatta. Even the Roosters, who have basically no fan base, will get a new stadium. We are just dumb clinging to a myth.

Been going to LO since the days of tin legs Barnes when the ground went East to West...and never once been to the toilets there. They were also the days when you went for three grades. Was born with long range tanks!! The smell always kept me out of them

I go to most games and I’d say it’s 50/50 depending on the day etc but never is a stretch.

We aren't the NFL. I don't care about modern facilities and a comfy chair.
I like good atmosphere and being close to the action. Leichhardt Oval ticks both those boxes.

I also enjoy being among the crowd at Leichhardt, you always end up chatting to the people around you - even if you've never met them before. You don't get that at the stadiums.

I don’t think anyone’s saying they don’t like going. Just being realistic about the facilities, I think the ground has a great atmosphere (at times) but reasonable facilities should be considered a part of modern footy.
