Parra are a notch or two down from Riff or Storm, but it will give us a very good indication where we are at. Although very beatable, I think we are still a notch or two behind where Parra are. Anyway I think we will be in the contest unlike many games this year

The Souths game showed we can be in it for the whole 80 and since that game this team has improved even more...we are a chance for the upset, beating the Panthers has given them more confidence within themselves and the combinations..we need to keep the heat on for the whole 80 and not drop the heads when things dont go our way...as a team they are maturing very well, they will only get better in my opinion...

I think Parra are beatable. We almost had them last time and we didn't play great. Reed Mahoney is a big loss for them. He has been our biggest enemy in recent years. His threat around the ruck, and ability to throw either a pin-point-long pass to his halves or thread the needle with a big-man, has caused us many issues.

Again, it will come down to our defence and ability to control the speed of play. Once they get a roll-on they are hard to stop. They are the type of team who like to string consecutive sets together. They aim to tire the opposition, then look for a 15-20 minute blitz in the middle of a game to put them away.

Probably best we wait until we talk...these same media pieces have been released for years now and they tend to be followed up by big let downs.

We have beaten:
Injury depleted Knights
Injury depleted Dragons
Panthers minus Origin players

We need a big scalp before there is any real proof of going up a level. I think we may well beat Parra, but let's talk after we do it...

Serious question: you’ve just pointed out our wins have only arisen when we’ve played teams disadvantaged by injury or SOO. What makes you think we can beat a near full strength parramatta?

I think we finally have balance.

Blore and Seyfarth have balanced the pack as both can tackle and are mobile. First six rounds we were badly balanced, bringing blokes like Musgrove off the bench who can't move side to side.

The halves also have finally found a combination that works.

AD also means we have one side of the field covered defensively out wide.

The spine is really clicking also.

My main concerns, as always, are Nofa and Talau. Both capable of two dumb mistakes each...we are not good enough to cover multiple poor errors from them.

If they can just be solid, we can win.

agreed. if Talau can eliminate his two errors in the first 20 we might end up with the two points. I'm just worried that if we can't stay with them and their starting pack that they'll rack up points very quickly. if we're ahead or level come the 25th minute I'd back us from there.

If we can hang onto the ball and not give away the penalties and set restarts we did last week we are in with a good chance.

As well as continue to do good in what they are doing good...
