Can all our fellow Forum Members let each other know when we get -

A- Membership Cards
B- Proticket tickets purchased on thursday (mailed out)

Oviously they would not be here by now but i am expecting them Mon,tues or wednesday this week.

This way we all know if we've been missed or not and we can contact the club on Thursday Morning to make other araignments.

Thank you all.

I'm generally a defender of the club but the fact that they haven't managed to get membership cards out until less than a week before the season begins is downright shambolic. What if, say, you're away on holiday or business this week? I mean, fair enough my life revolves around the Tigers but if they're trying to attract people who have actual lives and other options then this slapdash approach is pretty pathetic if we're honest about it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING 2012 MEMBER CARDS
>
All Members who sign up prior to 12 noon **Thursday 23 February 2012** will receive their member card in the mail before the Round 1 match at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday 4 March.
>
Anyone who signs up for Membership after this date but requires entry to the first round match will be required to pick up a paper ticket at the Wests Tigers ticket collection window at the Mary Street entrance on the day of the match for access to the ground.
>
Please note that those in this situation will still have a member card sent out in the mail the week following the Round 1 match.

Looks like theyre trying to do the majority of the memberships at the one time
Probably better, cheaper and more efficient than sending them out in batches over periods of time.
Dont know why people freak out every year over this, we always get them on time….much like people needing them despite being away on holiday or business

I bought my membership in January and haven't got my pack yet, so assuming this week.

I have to agree that it is a bit shabby that we get our card the week before kick off. Firstly, we have to trust Australia Post (can be dicey) and secondly, out of towners don't get the metropolitan "overnight" post so may be biting their nails waiting for the card.
Given the anticipated "sell out" for Sunday, the club may need a back up plan if we don't get our cards by Friday.

I have on about 3 occasions failed to recieve my memebership passes before the 1st game. Which is not good enough has they take my money well before the season starts. They actually usually manage to stuff up my tickets in some way every single year. They have had me in wrong seats on about 4 occasions. I actually stopped being a member for 5 years because of the problems.

I received my Proticket tickets Yesterday Monday 27/02/2012.

Still no sign of the Membership Cards.Maybe today 28/02/12\. 😛ray:

I bet it isn't cheaper when you factor in the hundreds of calls they're having to deal with and the backup plan they'll have to put in place.

I can just see it now, a couple of hundred people outside of Leichhardt Oval who are members with no cards to get in & i will be one of them. LOL hold up the game for us please.

Compared to other professional organisations, the management of the membershipsby Wests Tigers is quite nerve racking for us all.

One thing that perplexes me, is that they had the Eye of the Tiger jersey released and ready to be sold to the public weeks before the Foundation cup game, yet the Wests Heritage jersey may not be available for the Heritage round due to possible production delays.

That game is less than 6 weeks away and I hope Humphreys doesn't stuff that up as well !!.

Or stampede the gates, and head for the best seats in the house..!

Excellent news Troy.

I swear WT like making us sweat… On the paddock, last minute mailing of membership cards...
