Lets Smash the overrated Hype Raiders!

Will be a tough match,we will miss Ellis especially.Hopefully Gibbs is ok. Our forwards need big matches. Should be a good match.

I can see the exact same thread on a Raiders forum.

Both have really not delivered too much on the pre season hype.

it wont be easy, but it is defintly going to be an exciting game! i predict nail biting!!!
hopefully Gibbs and Ellis are all good to play. we are really missing them in the forward pack. Heigho needs to stand up, he was very ordinary last week.

I wonder If Raiders Tragic Mark Webber will fly up for the Game and then back to Melb for the Race.???

The Raiders have the best Front Row rotation in the comp… If we miss 35 tackles this week, they will put plenty on us!

Praying for a dry track to ensure we can play to our strengths in the backline...

the raiders pack are simply overrated size is not everything, we will get these guys, I know that tigers and raiders games always go to the final minutes, but a 30 point win would be nice!

Really mate? They certainly didn't have a great game on Friday night, everybody can agree on that, but that is very different to what they displayed on the week prior, and definitely late last season.

Size isn't everything, yes. But most if not all of our forwards are quality players.

Shillington- QLD and Australia representative. International prop of the year in 2010.
Buttriss- Not really rated, not the greatest hooker in the NRL, but IMO is a good solid dummy half.
TLL- NSW and Australia representative. Quality.
Picker- One of the players who go under the radar in our pack. Runs good lines and links well with Croker and Vidot.
Harrison- One of the more underrated players in the league. 80 minute player and NZ rep. A quality player.
Fensom- As I said in my post in the other thread, is one of the unsung heroes in our team, and his work isn't praised as much as it deserves. Tackles all day, and his attack has improved dramatically.

Will be a very interesting battle up front on Saturday.

You sound rather optimistic about this one Golden. Usually you're saying the Tigers have lost once the game is more than 2 minutes old

I know one thing, the Tigers cannot afford to give the Raiders pack more than 50% possession and they'll also need to significantly better the 65% completion rate they had against the Warriors. They'll do it very tough with a repeat of last week.

That and we saw how Penrith turned it around in a week. The Raiders are just as likely to do the same

The raiders are a quality footy team and not to be underestimated ..when you see them on the paddock there huge ..this will be a very tough game to win for us .If we do win this one our season will be well and truely underway ..I'm not super positive about this one on our form.

We should be having a full strength line-up besides the obvious absence of Campese.

Josh Dugan trained today, while David Shillington cancelled the scheduled scans of his knee for the option of also training. Jarrod Croker didn't take part in it though… just pulled up a bit sore from Friday. Don't think it is anything too serious.

Is it just me or do the best opposition players always return from injury against us.

Dugan this week, and Burgess is schedule to return when we play LOL@Souffs in a few weeks. Inu was also dropped in round one, but played against us.

Seems to always happen.

Does seem to happen.though I am more concerned when our players are coming back,Ellis,Gibbs and Fulton would be very handy on saturday.

Yeah agree but we need to worry about our players coming back and what players who will play for us perform like We only control our destiny

Raiders are a quality side with a great forward pack and a very good backline even better if Dugan is in the side. Oxford seems to be the weak link.

We can beat them on a dry track but if it is a wet track we may struggle.

Gibbs availability would boast our team especially his defence. Payten will be better for last week's run.

Our forwards need to aim up and Marshall and Farah need to improve their kicking games.

Ball security is a must especially after we score points.

Fifita needs to roll up his sleeves and make so runs out of our own half. Galloway needs to play well in both halves.

Both WT and Canberra have not lived up to the hype this year. Both will improve once key personnel returns to their line ups.

WT to win in a close one.

I am concerned that Benji will let the team down with his goal kicking. He is under so much outside pressure at the moment, I think this is putting him off as well, good luck :crazy
